This is a review for ZIPIT Beast Box Hard Shell Pencil/Storage Box, Red. Ahh... Back to school shopping and the dreaded must have list. Expensive, not really. Finding the exact matches, a serious pain. One of the few choices my kids get on what to have as school supplies is their pencil box. True, it must fit according to the size specifications, but finally a choice on style! So, as per usual, I sat my kids down in front of Amazon and asked them to pick a pencil box. My son picked this one. Its a hard shell and fits easily in his little desk. Its appropriately sized for his pencils, crayons, scissors and erasers. And it is well built. For him, he loves that it looks like a monster. For me, I love that it was one of the more reasonably priced pencil cases. Win-win! I recommend this highly to those in need of a cool, well built and reasonably priced school pencil box. Id buy it again.

..Im using this to clean up the drawer in my desk. I have so many pens and pencils and it is so messy in that drawer I thought this box would work well! The box is much bigger than I thought it would be. I didnt pay any attention to the measurements in the description. This box would make a great gift for any student especially if they like goofy. My 6 yr old grandson would love it. The 10 yr old not so much but he would love one of the other boxes from Zipit! Lots of sizes, colors and prices to chose from. Cute!

This pencil case is adorable and fun. I got it for a six year old heading off to first grade and he couldnt wait to show it off to his friends!

My daughter left a marker uncapped in the box and ink leaked everywhere. I threw it in the washing machine and it was good as new!

The pencil box had dirt on the eyes as if it had been used and returned. However, my son needs this for school so I cannot return it and receive a new one.

This is the cutest thing! I needed a place for my pens and markers so they would quit getting lost in my bed when I color. Worse than that is when I drop one on the floor and I have to ask my husband to find it. It reminds me of the childhood game Hungry Hungry Hippos lol. I love the color being bright and cheery pink. Theres no way I can lose this box like I was always losing my pens and pencils before. The hard plastic sides prevent pen tops from being cracked easily or leads broken which was wasting time and money. Ive been using it every day since it arrived and I love it!

It measures approximately 2 1/2 inches high (eyeballs project another 1/2 inch) by 5 inches deep and 8 inches long. I could easily fit 54 pens & pencils with room left over for a couple of erasers. It unzips and zips up easily and is well constructed. The dimpled monster face is cute. I expect this would be acceptable to children from preschool to first grade.

The case is sturdy and very pretty. However, it came with a scratch right above the eyeballs :/
