We are a household of 2 adults. These bags make it much easier to have fresh steamed veggies with meals. If you need more than 2-3 servings then the steamer might be better for you. For us this is the perfect solution.

Great convenience and easy to use.

These are the easiest and most convenient microwaveable bags on the market. I use them almost daily to steam my fresh vegetables and they (the vegetables) always come out perfect. My only complaint is that a long time ago, there was a large size bag, big enough to hold three ears of corn. For some reason, they stopped manufacturing this size bag. Wish they would do it again, sure miss this size.

Ive never understood why more people dont try these for steaming vegetable, maybe they dont know about them. The stores that used to carry them no longer do, I can only imagine that they werent selling. However, the are the greatest invention ever for cooking vegetable! They dont melt like normal baggies and all instructional times for various vegetables are on the bag. Most are 3-4 minutes and they steam vegetables perfectly.

If you regularly eat meals with cooked vegetables, these bags are indispensable. Diced vegetables microwaved in these bags can be stored frozen until needed for a meal. Using different bags for each vegetable, it’s easy to whip up a hash, western omelet, poor man’s eggs, pasta dishes, salads, etc., in minutes by portioning out from the bags. The bags are reusable many times if intact and can be ziploc’d securely. Also great for reheating leftovers, preparing meat dishes and pasta.

These are great for microwaving cooking of vegetables and shellfish

I love these veggie steamer bags... OMG! These make it sooooo easy to eat healthy and cut down on dishwashing. These also are a life saver when making potatoes or hash browns with a meal. Instead of waiting 30 minutes for boiled potatoes, these cook potatoes in 5-7 minutes depending on how many you stick in the bag. (Cut potato pieces, of course.) It can also make a baked potato, but I havent used it for that. If you eat a lot of steamed vegetables, I highly recommend these bags.

They work well for microwave cooking. I have no issues with the product. However, the delivery service left my order at the wrong address. A nice neighbor, I guess, brought it to me two days after I should have received it. USPS is responsible for the error.
