Zoo Med (2 Pack) Repti Tuff Splashproof Halogen Lamps 75 Watts

These light bulbs were larger than i expected and that was fine. But after normal use above my open turtle tank the extremely heavy glass lens fell out of the light bulb assembly almost killing my oachita turtle!!! Thank goodness he is full grown and was able to move out od the way in time because the glass lens is very thick amd heavy. The glue that held the lens in just let go! Not sure what happened but, was this old product or just faulty but would not recommend purchasing!

A couple things I’ve experienced with this bulb. It does last about a year before actually burning out because of the constant 14 hours I have it on a day And it gets extremely hot on the metal you will have to get a ceramic heat lamp if you want to purchase this product if you want the most life from it. Just like with past bulbs I’ve brought if you leave this bulb in for too long it will melt the contacts on your lamp and it may stop working this is what I’ve experienced. but in all it’s a great bulb for the price. my red eared slider is satisfied with this. Caution clamp on ceramic lamps may not be a good choice to combine with this product it’s too much weight for the clamp to handle this is what I’ve experienced. I would recommend.

Great bulbs

Have used product in the past w no problems but like so many other current reviews my lens fell off also. Maybe a bad batch or new production standards. Extremely disappointed

As a light source. Its what I used it for. For heat. Near water it dosent explode when bulb wet. Huge plus doesnt last as long as Id like. As ask the turtle he has it its on his house. Its not mine I just buy him stuff. He doesnt earn money.

After one day of use the glue that attaches the glass to the rest of the bulb fell apart. On both bulbs. If I could give this no stars I would. Absolute waste of money.

We have a turtle so the light bulb provides him the benefits of the sun.
