Zoo Med Desert UVB & Heat Lighting Dual Kit, 100 Watt

While the dome structures themselves are fine, Im giving this a 1 star rating due to the UVB bulb. This bulb, even when putting a UVB tester card directly underneath the bulb, had no measurable uvb output. Do not buy this for an animal that needs UVB. Get one of the hood lights with the reptisun 5.0 or 10.0 bulbs that actually emit UVB. This one was a big disappointment and had we not tested the UVB output we would not have known our animal was not getting the UVB they require.

I have now bought two of these, one for my bearded dragon and one for my husbands baby turtle. Both animals are doing very well and the light works great. The bulbs didnt last super long, but we got the first one last winter and it was doing a lot of warming. This one we just got so well see how long the bulbs last. Overall would highly recommend.

These dome fixture by ZooMed keep giving me trouble. Something with the sockets and wiring. My bulbs will cut on and off and flicker. This happened with my dual fixture as well as the single one beside it. Ive tried tightening the ceramic but it still acts crazy when it wants to. I get concerned that a bulb is going to bust, or hell be cold when i wake up one day. Totally unsafe and frustrating!!! I returned one but Ill probably have to replace my single one too.

Cheaper then at pet stores. My bearded dragon loves her lights .
