Great Product and far cheaper on Amazon than in any pet store!

I had bought 3 of these and all 3 went out anywhere from a few days to a month. I would have to try and wiggle the chords and they would come on after a few tries, or just flicker and go back out. I have the ceramic heat bulbs and I didnt know they had gone out one day till my beardy started acting different...the switches were ON, but were just dead. So much money wasted. I got mine from a pet store and they wouldnt take them back because it was just passed 30 days before I was able to take them back. I do not recommend this product.

Both bulbs have burned out within a week of receiving.

The product is as advertised except the basking bulb was sent damaged. The metal was corroded and electrical circuit was damaged. Lame.

Fixture is a good build quality but the bulbs are pretty lousy. They burned out quickly

I received this item last night and used it for the first time this morning. The unit had been turned on for roughly 1 hour when I heard popping and hissing sounds and smelled an electrical fire. The UVB bulb had shorted and there was fire coming from the socket area. Had this been as ordinary day, I would have turned the lights for my Savannah monitor and left for work. Today I decided to work virtually, and was (fortunately) in the same room as my monitor when the bulb caught fire and was able to get the unit unplugged and in the bathroom before serious damage could occur. Were I not working virtually today, it is likely that I would not have a home to come home to. SCARY!!!!! I have contact Zoo Med regarding this issue and will update this post if/when I hear a response.
