Zoo Med Mini Tropical UVB Lighting Single Combo, 100 Watt

The switch was broken, so the light kept flickering. Ended up not having a uvb light for my turtle until I got a replacement a couple weeks later.

Doesnt put off much heat...

I purchased this unit for use with a juvenile lizard that requires a UVB source and was happy to find a product that offered both UVB and UVA in one bulb. Although his vivarium is only 8x17x10 inches deep, the output of visible light is much too dim to be useful-it barely lights any of his tank. I am now forced to purchase a secondary daytime bulb. Had I known that the light output and quality were so poor, I would have purchased a double dome unit and seperate UVA and UVB lamps from the start. Now, Ill be stuck with two single domes which is more expensive and less tidy looking. This is one of the few purchases from Amazon that I regret but perhaps I just received a bad bulb.....

I bought this for a baby turtle to sit over his tank. This is not a heat loght, FYI, just the uvb which helps them produce calcium. I like that this light doesnt heat up, and it doesnt get hot, because I have a curious two year old at home!

I wouldnt call this mini by any measure.

Dont waste your money. I installed this the day it was delivered was in maybe 3 hours and now it doesnt work. Waste of money.

works perfectly, fits perfect in my pond. nice finish

So far so good. Product was in perfect condition and its still working. I run it about 12 hours a day and its been a few weeks now and still going strong
