> 3 dayI ordered this item for my reptiles to have a plentiful but safe amount of water before I went out of town. I ordered it through this particular seller because they offer prime so shipping would be faster. I got it on a Friday evening and when I opened the package, it was the wrong item. Instead, it was a Durapet Slow Feed stainless steel bowl for dogs. I immediately got on amazon customer service chat and they told me I needed to send in the incorrect item before they could refund my money and I could get what I ordered. I needed this thing ASAP so instead, I paid for it again and paid extra for one day shipping. I had to wait the rest of the weekend before I could get it again on Monday evening, after I sent back the other wrong item. I signed for the replacement and when I opened it, it was THE EXACT SAME DURAPET BOWL. AGAIN. I immediately got back on customer service chat and they said not to buy from this seller again. I now have to go back to FedEx to send this stupid bowl back and I cant even get the item I wanted in the first place. They said theyre pulling it from this seller and thats why. So if this item still happens to be available through this seller, I wouldnt order it. You wont get what you paid for. Twice.

Greater than one weekThe point iof an autowaterer is so you can leave them a couple days and they still have water available. This one allows lots of bacteria into it and only goes a day (max two) before it starts to smell and I have to wash it out with white vinegar, soap and water. I no longer use this for my pets.

> 3 dayIve been using this for 5 years for my Dubia roach colony. I fill the reservoir with water and the dish with pre-hydrated water crystals and it keeps my roaches well hydrated for at least a week (I have a very large colony) only thing is if you do this, you will need to add a small bit of paper towel in between the reservoir and the plastic screen or the tiny babies will crawl in the tank and drown. Im ordering another one for their dry food, seriously these guys are pigs and breed like, well roaches lol! and I need a larger capacity feeder than just the small dish Ive been using.

> 3 dayWorks just as expected. Just fill it up, then screw it on. Pretty straight forward. The only problem is that sometimes my iguanas poop in the water so I have to clean it out and refill it (which is probably better for them anyways!)

> 3 dayThe GOOD: Its not too small where she has a hard time drinking from it either. Overall, this fits in my tank well. I dont have to constantly mist her tank just enough so my humidity gauge is right. It looks like it belongs in with the rest of my desert minus the obvious big water tank on top of it. A good investment if youll be away for an extended period The BAD: Not sure if my beardie, Toothless, understands how it works cuz I get the feeling her ancestors were the Tyrannosaurus Rex. She seems to only respond to movement so sometimes I have to drip water onto the drinking area until she sees it. Thats fine, Id rather be more interactive with her considering I cant really play with her like a normal pet. The OTHER: The drinking bowl portion is not too big where Id have to worry about her drowning in it although shes pretty big and not stupid enough to do so anyway...unlike the live food I give her. A super worm drowned in a drop of water...I kid you friggen not!

> 3 daySo the product itself is AWESOME. I bought one from Chewy before and it works great, perfect for reptiles if you have to go away for a weekend or if they have an enclosure that hyper evaporates the water. HOWEVER The one I ordered here from amazon came without the base. So its just a plastic jug. Useless.
