Unboxing was fine, what worried me a little was that I bought it new and it somehow came taped up? The light bulb peeks out a little bit with the clip-on desk lamp that Im using.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Use it for our chameleon enclosure. Live plants in the terrarium do great with this light.

This is the second zoomed UVB bulb Ive had to replace. Only one side worked out of the box and by the time I realized, the exchange/refund window had closed. Go to a local pet store to buy, usually much less trouble to exchange one that doesnt work properly

Burnt out after a day.

Im using this bulb for my Crested Gecko. The 13w 5.0 is just about right for these lizards in a smaller enclosure. Mine is the Exo Terra 12x12x18. There is a lot of differences in opinion concerning Cresties UVB requirements, but they definitely will benefit from it. Mine basks right under it about 3-4 from the bulb. The screen top does block about 30% of the useful UVB, so they can bask much closer without risk of over exposure. There is very little heat accociated with these bulbs, but cresties prefer it that way with temps between 70-80℉.

I bought this about a month ago. So far its been good, right now i have it installed in a 20 gallon tank. I will be getting a bigger tank soon, so i guess ill have ti get a bigger light, but overall if you do your research this light should last at least 10 months.

Item was a day early, well package and was exactly what I ordered. Good for my daughters hermit crab. Also bought the Zoo Med naturalistic 2 bulb light fixture, and a Zoo med red heat light, all work great.

We have baby Red Footed Tortoises and they need UVB lighting in their habitat. This bulb is exactly what we needed and is long lasting. We plugged it into an automatic timer outlet attachment so that they get a full 12 hours of light with this, and regular daylight hours, and then their needed full 12 hours of dark. I highly recommend this product to those with reptiles needing a good quality UVB bulb.
