> 24 hourWe have baby Red Footed Tortoises and they need UVB lighting in their habitat. This bulb is exactly what we needed and is long lasting. We plugged it into an automatic timer outlet attachment so that they get a full 12 hours of light with this, and regular daylight hours, and then their needed full 12 hours of dark. I highly recommend this product to those with reptiles needing a good quality UVB bulb.
