ZooMed Eco Cage Carpet for 55 Gallon tanks, 13”x48”

I have a leapard gecko with a very large habitat (for a leopard gecko anyway). It is 36 x 16 by 12 high. I have linolium on much of the terrarium floor, but over the part that has the heat mat, the flooring gets pretty hot, so I use a piece of this under the hide. That way Harpo can be comfortable laying on the heat source when he wants to. And he does. I have another piece of it in another part of the floor just to give him some softness when he wants it. It is very easy to cut and to wash.

Looks good and covers the entire floor. It is about an inch or too wide so it may curl up on one side, but it prevents crickets and bugs from hiding under the carpet at least.

I have purchased both the green and brown 55 gallon reptile carpets and am impressed with them. They make the habitat look nice, and they are very easy to clean. I personally like the brown color better, since my bearded dragons terrarium is a desert theme. I like these better than sand and Repti-bark, since there is no way a beardie can accidentally ingest this. It is safer in my opinion, and better. The only downsides are when your reptile is shedding, the pieces of skin can stick to the carpet and be hard to pick up. When my dragon is shedding, he scratches his head on everything and the little pieces of dead skin go everywhere. Its not a big deal, but makes cleaning the carpet a little more difficult. Another downside is when there is a urate, it can stain the carpet. It comes out when you clean it, but sometimes I see smudges even after Ive picked up after my dragon. Since my Bentley typically goes in the same areas in his terrarium, I just put paper towels on those spots. Overall, I really like the Eco-Carpet and would buy it again!

It was great! I had to use 2 because of the width, but it still works for the bottom of my 55 gal beardie tank. Also, I had to cut some off of the length. Again, for the price it was exactly what I need. Ill be ordering 2 more soon so I can switch them out while I clean a set.

Please update the listing info, image shows brown and green carpet, but which color is for sale? Is it random? Thanks

My Tegu loves her carpet. it is easy to clean and comfortable for her to lay on.

Decent amount of carpet. Handy to cut to size. My leo seems pleased.
