Right size and item. Does what it needs to.

Fits great and is both softer and thicker than the other kind I was using. These can be put into a washing machine and line dried also!

If you havent seen or used Zoo Med Eco Carpet it is like a 1/8 thick piece of felt but made of a soft plastic fiber from recycled plastic containers. Its very well woven and fairly soft for a plastic product. It is washable and reusable when you clean your terrarium. I use it against the glass beneath a layer of aspen snake bedding. It prevents burning from an under the glass heater if my python decides to burrow or digs out a low spot in the bedding above the heater. Dont use an under glass heater without this or something like it or your snake or reptile could get hurt. My one complaint is not of the product, but the product description. They call it a 55 gallon tank size as if all 55 gallon tanks are built to the same dimensions, theyre not. The size stated in inches is for the packaging. The actual size of the piece of eco carpet is 47.5 x 12.5. My terrarium is actually larger then 55 gallons and deeper than this carpet so I cut the piece in half and overlap it in the middle to completely cover the heated side and have no carpet under the cool side. I have had no problems with my snake trying to burrow under the carpet.

Wont stick to the glass, unsafe for my bearded dragon.

This product is ok it does what I need it to do. It was kind of hard to unfold , I had to hang it up for a week to make it straight.

Awesome substrate for my bearded dragon! Easy to wash! I use a vacuum to clean up debris in between washings. Does not retain any bad odors from my dragon’s droppings or from the live feeders she eats. Will definitely buy again!

Works well. I love the green color. It works so much better then the brown ones. The only reason i did 4 stars is because its a little to wide and that enables the crikets to go under and hide.

Works great for the short term! I have a Bearded Dragon and switched to ceramic checkerboard tile, I’d recommend tile to all Dragon owners. This stuff is good for a disposable substrate though.
