> 3 dayBought these since the set I had was missing a size or two. Used it to cut into some very dense plywood using my drill. It got hot enough to smoke so I had to stop and let it cool a few seconds and use a wire brush to remove the wood that got stuck on the teeth, but after a couple of bites it made it through each time. No warping or damage to teeth after drilling about a dozen holes. I also liked this one because it came with one drill bit for all the hole saws, unlike another set I returned where some of the hole saws only fit the larger drill bit which was too big for my 3/8 drill.

10-06-2025Tried drilling a hole in 1/4 inch wood. Product fails. Tried with another one. Product fails again. Amazon wants to charge me $7.99 to return this $18.00 purchase just to add insult to injury. Absolutely disgusting quality.

> 3 dayI was looking for a hole saw kit to install a new deadbolt onto an exterior door. The instructions for the deadbolt said I needed 2-1/8 and 1 holes so I looked for a kit that included both of those sizes. Surprisingly that was kind of difficult to find. I could easily find kits with 1 or the other size but this was the only kit I could find with both sizes I needed. So I give credit for including those sizes, which I imagine are standard for installing a deadbolt or door knob. My problem with this kits comes from the quality. The metal of each of the bits is extremely pitted and looks to be scratched up and used, but was not. Very poor quality control. Also the case they came in is very cheap and the plastic latch is extremely flimsy and will break off after opening and closing a few times. This is not a tool I will need often, potentially ever again, but I would likely look for a better quality kit if you are searching for hole saw bits.

> 3 dayThis is a pretty good set of hole saws. The price is right and the quality of the components are good.

> 3 dayThe pilot hole drill will not get through anything at all, it failed to make a hole through MDF. One of the larger diameter saws bent out of shape on the first use drilling some MDF. The metal used for the drills is complete garbage, yeah its cheap but for a bit more you could get something a lot nicer that actually lasts a single use.

> 3 dayI was very hopeful because the price was great and it could arrive quickly for a project I was working on, but disappointed with the quality. Hole saws were stacked on top of each other which makes sense for space saving in the packaging, but they were jammed so tightly together it took me 30 minutes to separate them. They were also covered in machine oil of some sort. The worst part was the reliability... I was drilling through hardwood and making decent progress, until I just couldnt make it any further. Pulled out the hole saw and found all the teeth were ground down and literally gone. This literally happened in less than a minute. In my 40 years of doing construction projects Ive never seen anything like it, but I guess you get what you pay for. I ended up going to the hardware store to pick up a quality hole saw and it went through the wood I was working on with no issue. Possibly I just got a product that wasnt manufactured properly / properly hardened so I dont want to 100% rule out this product as good but buyer beware.

> 3 dayI ordered this because I needed to cut a bunch of 2.25-inch holes into a 1/2 plywood. After cutting the first hole the cutout was stuck in the saw. I had to disassemble the whole thing and smash it on the ground to get the wood out of the saw. The next time I tried cutting from the top and then I tried to finish by cutting the other side of the board. Again it got stuck and I still cant get the wood out. After all this effort I ended up going to home depot and got myself a Milwaukee single-hole saw and it cost as much as this entire set, but I was able to cut out 10 more holes in the time it took me to get one drilled with this set. Cheaper is not always better. This saw cannot access the underside or remove the cut wood. It also doesnt seem to cut in a way to create space for the wood to come out. Really I dont understand what this would be good for.

> 3 dayThe set that I already owned didnt have the size that I needed, so I purchased this set. My only complaint is that where the stamp is that displays the size was so shallow on some of them that I had to get my measuring tape out to determine the size. Other than that, it worked perfectly.

> 3 dayI tried to use this for the first time yesterday. I cant use the smallest hole cutter. The bit/mandril that comes with the set is thick. When you put it into the smaller of the two shanks, the small hex screw wont tighten flush. Consequently, the smaller hole cutters wont fit. The non-flush screw prevents the hole cutter from fitting onto the shank. The smaller hole cutters dont fit onto the larger shank. I tried using a smaller bit from my tools, but that didnt work. This would be a great set if it had a thinner bit for the smaller cutters.
