> 3 dayYes, they rust and not necessarily with wear. I placed one in a glass with a small amount of water and by the third day the ball bearing had rusted. Which is very disappointing because I bought 200. I had planned to put them in my acrylic paint and nail polish that I use like paint. I was misled by this answer No, unless getting into contact with corrosive material like salt etc. They are made from stainless steel. By Tom on December 13, 2015

Greater than one weekWas missing the steering bearings in bike im restoring. looked up size needed on parts diagram. If i purchesed new ones from motorcycle dealer wouild heav been like $30 .. this item was correct size and cost only 5 - 6 dollars!!
