> 3 dayI ordered these because I have some applications that go through bearings quickly and quality wasnt my main concern. I was very impressed with the bearings I received. They came in ten tubes of ten bearings in two seperate boxes. With this quantity of bearings for this price I expected a decent number of defects, but Id estimate issues with less than 10% of the bearings. Thats an acceptable rate to me for the price.

> 3 dayAs others have stated these are covered in grease. Its a basic coating that most bearings you order come with and was not a big deal. The bearings come in these plasic tube holders and all i did was fill it up with rubbing alcohol (best i had) and shook it then used a paper towel to clean them off. So far out of the 2 tubes ive done that to and tested, ive only had 2 hard to move bearings. It was clear this was due to the plastic cover not fitting well and not a problem with the bearing itself. If you have the time to clean them or were planning on using the bearings in a more mechanically heavy application and will grease them yourself then these are perfect. Very cheap and so far average quality. The grease smell is just a normal one i dont know why some people were overreacting. Im building mechanical joints for a raspberry pi project and these are exactly what i needed to ensure everything moves properly. I may clean them and mix in graphite powder with more grease to use them as sliprings since damage is not a concern for the sheer plethora i now have.

> 3 dayThey come in cosmaline i do believe to keep off rust. Out of 20 I found 2 didnt spin right. I clean em woth gasoline and wash n dry with dawn and relube.I notice on my skates I can run a set for about 6 months before relubing.

Greater than one weekI ordered these 608 Bearings for use in some projects I have for 3D printing. Some of the bearings are rusted. They dont spin and the ones that do are so coated in oil that you have to force them to move. They are crap bearings, if you can even call them that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME GETTING THESE! Lets just say, its a good thing Amazon has a return policy!

Greater than one weekThe price is really the only reason they earned 4 stars. The quality and function varied wildly within the batch; some of the stamped steel bearing cages were deformed to the point of being almost completely locked up. However, they werent too greasy or messy and all of them were dimensionally correct. They came with a heavier grease in the bearings, more fit for doing work than hitting maximum RPM. I needed about 60 of these for my project and had to trouble coming up with that many acceptable pieces out of the hundred, so Im satisfied.

Greater than one weekWhen I first got into 3D printing, I didnt know these things existed. I quickly found, however, that the 608 is the bearing of choice for many 3D-print projects that need rotating parts. I really dont know how long it is going to take me to use all of these (so far Ive only used them in three projects), but I couldnt pass up the quantity price. They fit perfectly in every project that calls for a 608, they turn smoothly -- whats not to like.

> 3 daySo the price is good and they are bearings. Not very smooth, so like not for fidget spinners and the like. I’m sure they work for certain applications

Greater than one weekYup, they are bearings. But would not give above a C rating for condition, even at this price. Packing was lacking. All just in a big bag. I found at least 3 different labels on the seals so thinking its a mixed batch of brands. Probably why some seem ok and some not so much. Also cleanliness control was lacking somewhere. as several of them have heavy grit all over. Normally would not care that much, but considering the seal is questionable on many of them as well, its likely the grit got into some. Wanted to use out of the bag, not have to clean and re-lube before use. One seal was missing a part altogether, and others have gap where you can see the bearing inside. Would have been just as well to get non-sealed bearings.
