> 3 dayI was concerned that the bag material might melt or ignite prematurely and damage documents in a fireproof / waterproof document chest. The vendor quickly confirmed the bag was polyester and would melt at 265 degrees which is below the 350 F rating for the fireproof chest. Having the knowledge about a polyester bag, the solution is to place the bag in the bottom of the chest and place a small barrier between the desiccant bag and the documents. Polyester ignites at about the same temperature as the paper so that strategy will maximize protection of the wills and other valuable documents in the unlikely event of a fire where I may not survive. Of course, if I survive a damaging incident then all documents can be replaced. I really appreciate the speed in which the vendor responded to my question.

> 3 dayThese dont work. I hate to mention a different company but the Eva Drys work way better. I bought 2 packs of these and my return window is closed. Just my opinion.

> 3 dayAbsorbs nothing. Placed one in a gallon bag with a hygrometer and measured water. After weeks the hygrometer reading had increased, water level did not change, and the bag’s indicator had not changed color. Even when putting water directly on the indicator, water beaded up and ran off the bag with very little change in the indicator. Returned.

> 3 dayI have a big plastic storage tub with my Star Wars collection in it, I dropped one of these dry packs in the tub and it really helps keep them in new condition.

> 3 dayI slipped two of these in between the plastic sheeting and the glass when when sealing the windows for the winter. (We are in an apartment that has dual-glazed windows, but the seal on one of the larger panes has failed and so its like having a single pane window - basically an open refrigerator door in the room during the winter! I put the packets in hoping that theyd take any moisture out of the space so I wouldnt have black mold growing in there from condensation of any moisture trapped in the space when it was sealed. I can happily say that there is absolutely no trace of condensation inside the airspace at all, and definitely no mold at all! Im thinking I probably could have done well using only one, in hindsight. The only reason I didnt rate durability is that we havent had them long enough to let you know that.

> 3 day…over the old style Dessicant packs!!! These can be heated for a couple of minutes in the microwave instead of two hours in the oven.

> 3 dayI bought two of these, to use in my boxing gloves after training. Typically, my boxing gloves are incredibly sweaty and although I regularly clean them with a deodorizer + disinfectant, they are sports equipment... and like any other sports gear they will develop an odor if they dont get dry. They lasted about 4 months of near daily use. They worked like a charm! Really soaked up moisture and fit perfectly into the finger box of the glove. Unfortunately, when I tried to recharge one of them, it got scorched, and didnt change color back to blue. I followed the instructions and reduced my microwaves power, and I wound up stopping the microwave early because I could smell the scorch smell. Shame because while it worked, it worked really well! If you consider this a single-use item and use it for a few months or a year (depending on what youre using it for), its a great buy.

> 3 dayGreat product. Easy to use, easy to recharge, cloth materials, these are way better than all the highly rated Amazon ones they are trying to push. Honestly I think these are higher rates than all the others, but the highly rated ones are just paying Amazon more money to get the Amazons choice and they dont even work or recharge... Well these ones do work.
