124 Skeins Embroidery Floss Cross Stitch Thread with Needles

I bought this to sew onto a hoodie. Each strand is made up of 6 threads. Each strand is 6 feet long I think. The one I got is 124 colors and it came with some needles. The colors are good. Nice variety. Ive gotten compliments on the hoodie I made with it.

Great selection of colors. Just wish they had numbers on the skeins.

Mainly liked ..good assortment of colors. Ill be use this to learn embroidery. I think this embroidery floss would make a nice gift for anyone that likes crafting...reasonably priced.

I am embroidering a king-sized quilt so I need a LOT of embroidery floss. I definitely do not want dye that will run and ruin my quilt, so I was hesitant to buy this floss despite the great price and good reviews. Colorfast is not the same as boilfast as colorfast refers to fading in light over time. I tested the floss by dipping each skein in boiling water and letting the skeins dry on white paper towels -- and was very happy to see that no color ran! The texture is very soft and the individual threads are comparable in size an strength to DMC floss. The colors are beautiful and match somewhat to DMC colors; there are only one or two skeins of each color, so the set is best for free embroidery -- if you need many skeins of the same color, youd need to buy multiple sets of this. The needles and accessories are not good quality, but if you embroider a lot, you probably have your personal favorite brand and arent buying this floss for the needles.

Thread broke and frayed easily

Product is cheap and starts to unravel while being used. Not worth the price. I expected something similar to DMC floss.

These are good threads at a good price. You get 124 skeins for 11.99, which means youre paying less that $0.10 per skein, plus they include a pack of needles which are quite small and good for precise embroidery work! Compared to DNC thread which is usually about $0.52 per skein, thats a good deal. The threads are strong and easy to pull apart and the colors are lovely. The only reason I give i only four stars is that they have no numbers to identify them, so if you run out of thread mid-project, you pretty much have to buy another entire pack if you want your colors to perfectly match. I usually use this thread for small accents against the DNC thread which have numbers to identify every color.

Would prefer more weight. A inexpensive way to get started on a DMC floss collection for stitchery.
