threads unravel very quickly cant get much use of them... but i guess you get what you pay for

Great quality with lots of colors for bracelets:)

I purchased this embroidery floss to help get my daughter started on friendship bracelet making. The floss held up well and comes in a large variety of colors. I had no problems with separation while we made bracelets and the thread seems to be pretty durable and not flimsy or weak. My child was very excited about the number of colors that came with this set and I was happy with the price and the quantity. We will try them with cross stitch and embroidery soon and Ill update my review on them then to reflect that also.

I am embroidering a king-sized quilt so I need a LOT of embroidery floss. I definitely do not want dye that will run and ruin my quilt, so I was hesitant to buy this floss despite the great price and good reviews. Colorfast is not the same as boilfast as colorfast refers to fading in light over time. I tested the floss by dipping each skein in boiling water and letting the skeins dry on white paper towels -- and was very happy to see that no color ran! The texture is very soft and the individual threads are comparable in size an strength to DMC floss. The colors are beautiful and match somewhat to DMC colors; there are only one or two skeins of each color, so the set is best for free embroidery -- if you need many skeins of the same color, youd need to buy multiple sets of this. The needles and accessories are not good quality, but if you embroider a lot, you probably have your personal favorite brand and arent buying this floss for the needles.

This is a very good product for the price. It is a good quality string, comes with a lot of color options, and was delivered very quickly. As a summer camp professional, I would definitely purchase this again for our arts and crafts program.
