> 24 hourBought three of these for some inter-rack connections and within a week one of them failed. Unfortunately because of this, I will likely look elsewhere for a replacement.

> 24 hourI have a few Mikrotik routers and switches with SFP+ and none of these allow 2.5G or 5G connections with these SFP+ Modules. They work fine at 1G or 10G. Mikrotik said its due to the Ethernet side negotiation not being registered correctly in the ROM so they cant read the DAC information inside of the SFP+ modules ROM. On the Mikrotik side these modules always link at 10G, even when a 1G device is peered. If you need a simple RJ45 10G module then this is good for the price. But do not expect full 2.5G or 5G support with these modules. Also they run hotter then other modules and DACs I use. So consider active cooling applications.

> 24 hourCisco 10GBase-T SFP+. Product does not work with Cisco 3850-24XS-S, never established a link. Buyer beware this is the same company as 10Gtek.
