> 24 hourI purchased 2 of these and put it in to two of my machines on my network that was close together. Transfer rate for files from machine to machine is now astonishingly fast. What used to take hours now takes minutes. Great product for the price. The best part of it all is that you dont have to deal with fiber.

> 24 hourCurrently using this in a QNAP QSW-2104-2S. It was instant plug and play, zero fuss! I tested connection to my server via iperf3 and immediately got ~2.3Gpbs. Will definitely pick up another one of these in the future.

> 24 hourFor those of you who have Intel x550 adapters such as the Sonnet Twin 10G (Thunderbolt 2) you may have experienced pain with consistent throughput with Marvel Based 10Gb switches like DLINK. It seems you could always sustain 7-8Gbps down, and roughly 2.5-2.8 Gbps out. I decided before I start changing network adapters or switches I would give this a try now that 10Gbase-T SFP adapters are reasonable. Well it worked, I can now sustain between 10.5 and 11.1Gb/s both directions. This matches what I get when directly connecting an Intel x550 and x540 on 10GBase-T directly attache with a 25 CAT7 cable. This is so much easier than ripping out infrastructure!!!! I have used the poleax 10gb SFP 10gb SR transceivers extensively and they have been rock solid. Sure is nice when you just plug and forget and the data keeps crunching!

> 24 hourBought the wrong GBICs for a project, and then took a chance on these because I could get them delivered quickly. So far, theyre working well. Had them live for a month.

> 24 hourI have an Aruba S2500-48P switch that has 4 SFP+ interfaces that are noted as only supporting 1gig copper modules in the manual but on a whim i grabbed this thinking if it doesnt work no big deal, but sure enough right out of the package and loaded it into the powered on switch and it picked it up and saw it without issues or additional tricks like enabling unsupported transceivers etc.. Connected to my google router and full10g works perfect on a cat6 cable! Ordered 3 more now. I havent tested jumbo frames/mtu yet but I will update if any issues.
