I got this bag to attend an interview at an airline. It looks nice, fit all my paperwork and supplies well, and was easy to carry. It expands an extra 2 inches, which really helped out. Fit my 16 inch MacBook very easily. It needs a bit of extra cushioning on the bottom of that compartment though. I wouldn’t drop the bag. Not a big issue. I’ve only used it for a 3 day trip. I’m not sure how it will hold up long term. Doesn’t matter for me. I got the job.

Plenty of room (and sections) for Surface Laptop, file folders, book or two, and even an iPad, when needed for travel. The only thing that would make this an absolutely awesome bag is a swivel clasp on the ends of the shoulder strap; lucky for me I am just using the one from my old bag. Would definitely recommend as an everyday for IT people.

I have a chunky 17 gaming laptop, this bag fits it perfectly. The handle is good, but the way the velcro connects is awkward. Otherwise, Im quite happy.

This bag worked great for my needs. I needed to put both a 17 laptop and a 15 & 1/2 laptop in it and was able to do so along with a tablet. The additional zipped pockets were handy for documents and other items. Was also able to fit underneath airline seats as a personal item, both on a 757 and a smaller CRJ200.

I should consider this bag a downgrade from the one I had previously; it cost a lot more, and had served me very well for many years. However, my initial impression of this bag far surpasses my expectations. -Construction: Rugged, which some may find to be a detriment, but to me is a nice touch. Well see how it holds up over months and hopefully years of use, but for now I like the confidence I get that my computer is protected. -Fit: I have a 13.3 laptop, and the pouch inside is big enough to fit what looks like might be a 15.6 computer. Despite the extra room, it feels snug. The pocket on my previous bag was much larger, which made me nervous that my laptop was moving around too much inside. Storage: Not as many pockets as my last one, but definitely improved on the ones it does have. My previous bag had three pouches in the main compartment; this one only has two, but theyre both bigger. Aside from the ample room in the two main compartments, the secondary one (between the laptop compartment and the outermost one that can hold pens) can hold two full-sized hardcover books, which is great when I travel because I like to do a lot of reading. I havent tested out the expanding portion yet, but I bet itll provide even more. The smallest compartment is still large enough that it could also probably hold a paperback if I needed it too. -Profile: Despite all its storage capacity, this case manages to maintain a slim profile, more so than the last bag I had. I really like this, as it makes moving about with the bag easier. Additionally, the shoulder strap is shorter than my last bag, allowing me to carry it higher and up closer to my side. I go to school in DC, so I especially like that since it makes it easier to go through the gates at the subway station. All in all, I think this will turn out to be a great bag. It has lots of great features, solid construction, and improved ergonomics. And at a price of under $40, I consider it a steal.

The bag is awesome and I was very pleased with the storage this thing has. I put my work and personal laptops plus my foldable stand, which is sizable, along with all the cords, speakers and mice in it. I didnt even have to unzip the expandable section. The only drawback is there is no padding on the bottom like my smaller bag Ive been using for years. Every time I sat it down I heard a thunk from the laptops hitting the counter through the lining. I wouldnt have bought it had I read a review making people aware of that fact. But its mine now so I bought some foam at the store and put it in the bottom. Seems to work. Shame they didnt think of cushioning the bottom. Itd be a 10 star then.

Purchased this for my husband for work. He always carries a briefcase and at least once per week, I hear the briefcase burst open, so this was a lifesaver. I especially like the file organizer that fans out when you open it. Its light and very roomy, yet small enough that you dont look like you are carrying a duffel bag. Perfect price point too!

As a recent graduate of a community college, its time to retire the Jansport that has served through high school. I started using this briefcase about two months ago. It is constructed of a relatively light material, and has collected some minor scrapes. It will probably look like hell in two years. But so will most anything outside of 500 D Cordura, heavy canvas, or Full Grain Leather. The bag is spacious. If the expansion section is unzipped, you could easily use it for a weekend trip. The laptop compartment is more of a raised pocket, without much padding, to keep the computer from touching the floor when you put the bag down. This is fine for my $200 HP. But, if I had more expensive equipment, I would invest in something that could protect against lateral blows. The amount of pockets and compartments is insane. I really like the compartment behind the main area, it has a divider for file folders and a small zippered pocket for the removable shoulder strap. Im very satisfied with the purchase.

Good briefcase. Plenty of room and adequate for organizing paperwork. Havent traveled with as of yet so do not know how it will hold up as far as durability.
