While the price is ok and it does put out a lot of air, the level of noise is offensive. I would not recommend gor anywhere. Too distracting. Definitely do not use in a bedroom.

Its a good fan drowns out a lot of background noise; the only downside is that I was sent the wrong color :/

I thought any fan priced this low would probably not last or work all that well. But it’s a great fan – lightweight, quiet, and it pushes a great deal of air. I bought it to run in the house, and built a HEPA filter that I attached behind the fan to filter the air. Very cost-effective (HEPA units are ridiculously expensive). It’s working great to remove pet hair, dander, and any germs and viri that might have found their way into our house. Surprisingly satisfied with this bargain fan!

Im keeping the fan, but its far from quiet. Disappointing.

If you want a quite fan this isnt for you. Its loud but that is what I was looking for. I live on a busy street. You can here traffic specially motorcycles. It blocks all the noise. My husband can even hear it in the living room (faintly). It is sturdy. I have it on my night stand and it doesnt wobble around. I will definitely buy this fan again. All around its great.

This is perfect if you like white noise...which is my reason for buying box fans. Anyway, even the lowest level is nice and loud so if you want to watch TV then its kinda loud and you will need to turn the fan off. Other than that, this is a dream for those that like to sleep with that wonderful soothing white noise.

We liked this fan and purchased 2 more before the heat wave was over. The “feet” work well and it is stable at all speeds. In fact, I would have given it 5 stars except the lowest speed setting isn’t very low.

A bit loud but it does it’s job

Our A/C broke down and I used the fan and my gosh it cooled the room down. Its very noisy but it does the job. A/C is fixed now and my daughter will be using it for her dorm cause that what it was originally bought for.

Use your heads: this is a wind machine, not a cooling machine. It is very effective at moving air, so cool your house, then move the air around efficiently with this powerful lightweight fan. It is not quiet even on low; I love it for the steady white noise I need for deep sleep, and my dogs react to thunder much less with this on. My fan had no instructions included, so how to clean the blades is still a mystery. But no rattles or vibrations mar the lovely hum of the steady breeze. Great value, and recommended.
