> 3 dayI usually buy this type of sponges at stores, but a few days ago I needed them before I could get to a store and decided to check on Amazon. The first surprise was the price—it’s incomparable, I cringe realizing how much money I wasted buying them in stores for years. The second surprise is the quantity—it says 20, but when it actually arrives you realize that it’s quite a lot, and this pack will last you for a very, very long time. And the third surprise was the quality. I use these sponges pretty much on many surfaces (especially glass, counter tops, sink), but what I needed it for this time around was to clean a 75 gallon aquarium after a water change, which was prompted by algae bloom—it stuck to some areas of the glass so strongly that a regular sponge wouldn’t take it off (and anything coarse would scratch the glass). These types of sponges work great for this purpose. Store-bought ones leave white residue and fall apart very fast and easily. I used one of these sponges to clean the whole tank, and the sponge isn’t even deformed, nor there are any tears. The glass is perfectly clean, it picked up every patch of algae and water stains.

> 3 dayI just used these for the first time. These cleaning pads are thick and have done a great job cleaning stains, on multiple surfaces (paint, baseboards, and sink), but they tear very easily as soon as I take them out of the packaging. I thought I did something wrong the first time, as I opened the pack, and touched an eraser with my fingers to grab it, and it immediately ripped. So I was more careful with the second one, but it did it again. They rip as soon as I touch them when they are dry. I wet them quickly and used them, and they are better when wet....but still a little fragile. I am sorry about it because they clean great! Maybe it was an old batch? For cleaning they are great, but I am not sure I can attest to their durability.

> 3 dayYou can really grip these sponges and they clean really well. They do very well on my glass top stove and they clean messy pans easily.

> 3 dayRemoves what everything else I tried couldnt. I was able to clean all of the upholstery on my 34 cruiser with one block, but the block was pretty much history by the time I was done. Im sure the next one will last longer since all the nasty stuff is now gone. I bought a 20 pack, and I suspect that it could last me the rest of my life. A great value for the money.

> 3 dayOver the course of a year and a half, I have purchased approximately 20 packages of these magic sponges. I think they work great. That being said, the last 4 packs I have purchased (over the span of 4 months) they have not lasted as long nor have they been as “magic”. Maybe just a bad couple of batches?? Overall a great product

> 3 dayI bought these as a potential alternative to Magic Erasers, because I was attracted to the price point and great reviews. So, perhaps unfairly, I used it on my most challenging job, cleaning the baked on gunk in my much used Breville oven. While it was OK for this task, it wasnt as effective as I hoped. I had a piece of Magic Eraser left over and it rubbed off the same dirt much more effortlessly. HOWEVER, these sponges did an AMAZING job of removing scuffs from painted surfaces without disturbing the paint. With Magic Eraser, you need to apply a bit of pressure to erase the scuff, but the paint comes off with the scuff if you apply any sort of pressure,so the process was counterproductive. With these sponges, you can bear down a little bit and have a perfect outcome. I would buy these again for removing marks on more delicate or painted surface.

> 3 dayNot even close to the actual magic eraser, these are just a glorified sponge that falls apart quickly. A total waste of money.

> 3 dayThese work great on soap scum in the shower, limescale around faucets, hardened toothpaste in the bathroom sink, etc. And theyre much cheaper than the name brand. They seem like they start coming apart really fast, though - I can easily use one per sink if the mess is bad. Even so, I would buy these again.
