> 3 dayGood value for getting 2 controllers for the price of what some single ones cost. Bot as rigged and well built as some others or the originals. But responsive and definitely a great value.

Greater than one weekI really wanted to like these controllers. I bought a couple from ebay a year or two ago, and the N64 style controller worked pretty well, but the SNES style had a defective Dpad, so the left and right basically didnt work, and up only worked occasionally, so the only consistently functional direction was down. I contacted Kiwitata to see if theyd send me one that worked, and they insisted I download OpenEmu and test the controller there instead of the online emulators Id been using. I jumped through the hoop and got the exact same findings on OpenEmu, and then they tried to get me to jump through another hoop. I decided that wasnt worth the $5 or whatever that I had paid, so I blew them off. Here a couple of months ago, I read reviews that these newer controllers had fixed the Dpad issue, and I was excited to give them a try, so I bought this 2 pack, which arrived a day earlier than planned! I plugged them in, and one controller had left engaged constantly, so not touching the controller caused my character to run to the left, and the other had a similar issue as the old ones, where pressing left or right only engaged up or down. I sent a message through Amazon, hoping for the same outcome as another reviewer had had, that the seller would send a replacement that worked, but instead I got the same run around as before - they wanted me to download OpenEmu and send a screenshot of my key bindings, as if that was going to address my issue in any way. I wrote back saying I had already jumped through this hoop before and it got me nowhere, and they never responded after that. Im more than a little jealous of those who have bought these and gotten functional controllers. If and when I buy again (Im a casual gamer at best), Ill definitely go with another brand, though Im not at all confident at this point that any of these cheap knockoff brands have the quality control to guarantee Ill get something that I can use.

> 3 dayI really enjoy these Snes controllers and use them very often, they have seen some wear but nothing that you wouldnt expect from any other controller. They are responsive and the buttons are tactile, Overall making a quality build for the most part. The Body of the controllers plastic feels a little less premium but to be sure I asked a few friends to pick out the reproduction vs an original and all 8 of the friends that tried couldnt see or feel any major difference! If you looking for something for your PC or Emulation Station, I highly recommend these.

> 3 dayWork well with Raspberry Pi and Retro Freak devices. Decent directional control and button response. Not as good and the Buffalo brand controller but they are half the price.

> 3 dayIve been using the controllers to beat Donkey Kong for the SNES on an emulator and the controllers are perfect! My girlfriend and I have used them 3 times so far and seem to be extremely responsive especially the Dpad. The buttons are firm as the controller is new but they have a great feel to them and are responsive. Only issue we have is that the cables are pretty short but theyre true to the SNES thats for sure! would recommend to any friend but pick up usb extenders if you plan to use them for couch gaming instead of a desk setup!!! Plus if any issues occur they do offer money back / replacement options!!!

> 3 dayWorks great for any platformer game and feels like the old SNES. Ive always had issues with other controllers and their DPad. They always felt cheap, hard, and unusable. This controller feels like the smooth rubber designed for the SNES back in the 90s This one doesnt have thumb sticks like other brands. But the feel is spot on.

Greater than one weekIts understandable that these wouldnt be that great given the price. However, they have one specific reason, and that is to play emulated games. The controller doesnt have the ability to map D-pad combinations(Up+Left, Up+Right, etc.) so for most games its pretty useless.

> 3 dayThese feels exactly like the originals. Great for hooking up to a computer or raspberry pi. The cord is about 5 feet if I had to guess which is okay but not great. It would be nice if the cord was longer. The play is perfect and I have no complaints other then developing that Nintendo thumb callus again. :)

> 3 dayIts a great deal I could not pass up. Now I have the ability to play my SNES emulators on my computer with an original controller.

> 3 dayThe buttons work, but the dpad y axis gives its output as axis 5, and the dpad x axis shows up as axis 1 and is duplicated on axis 2, 3, and 4. axis 0 is just always on. All controllers effected. I dont know of any gamer who would want their game to think they pressed 5 buttons when they pressed left or right! The product looks good, and feels good, but that all means nothing if the product does not actually work good! On top of that while the buttons do work theyre in a odd order. X is 0 like some bad MegaMan fanfic, Y is 3, A is 1, and B is 2, so its in the order that a XInput controller would be, but the actual buttons arent in that placement, so it doesnt make sense! Its like the people who made this ran out of money making all the parts look and feel awesome that when it was time to do the micro controller coding, and soldering they paniced and had their web designer do it because he knew dreamweaver! Simply put, its a polished turd.
