Greater than one weekI’m actually really impressed by these. For the price the buttons all feel good and worked well with my retropie. They aren’t weighted, and since old controllers had bulkier electronics, these are lighter than originals. Do yourself a favor and buy a usb extension hub if you don’t plan on sitting right next to your tv though.

> 3 dayIt works pretty good, kinda stiff at first and has a couple dead zones but its not too bad. Both of mine died without much warning. I did use them pretty heavy for practicing SNES speedruns, but not heavy enough to damage them.

24-11-2024Works perfect with retropie. Dpad is solid and precise with no lag or ghost inputs like my ibuffalos. Shoulder buttons are better than the iNNEXT pair I just received. The action buttons are too high to the point that its noticeable but have a nice click to them. Id give them an easy 5 star if the action buttons werent so high, the shoulder buttons were more clicky and the icing would be a 6ft cord instead of 5. Id even pay an extra $5.

> 3 dayI couldnt get this to work with the Overdrive driver for Mac, but did some more research and got it working with the Enjoy2 driver, which you can find on GitHub. Once I opened Enjoy2, hit start in the program, then I got it working with OpenEmu.

> 3 dayTruly replicates the nostalgic feel of holding a SNES controller, however, it does remind you that those controllers were severely lacking in many respects; modern controllers are infinitely more ergonomic for real human hands and a more appropriate size. The controllers feel incredibly small, at first I thought this was a defect but I believe our memories are of times when our hands were smaller.

> 3 dayThis couldve been a perfect controller. Size, shape, responsiveness all good. However one of them stopped working in under a month. Thats fine I thought, I still have another one. Well that other one stopped working in under a month too.

> 3 daySo, Ive now tested four different controllers, and they all have the same problem; they all seem to be constantly sending the signal for the POV Up Input, which isnt an actual input on said controllers. Basically, the input acts the same as the normal up input on the directional pad, but exists separate from it, so for games where you cant set a single movement options (EX: Steam version of Chrono Trigger) the game is un-playable. Luckily, when emulating games, this isnt an issue as you can just change the input bind to the normal up and that takes care of the problem. Ill highly recommend the controller for playing emulated games, but for anything other than that, Id stay far away from it.
