> 24 hourGot these for routine computer backups at work. There are a lot of cheap usb flash drives on Amazon with poor reviews for quality or longevity. These were rated fairly well, and I needed something reliable and durable, so I got the 10 pack so Id have backups. So far so good. Only gave it 4 stars because one of the 10 was DOA right out of the package. No computer in the office would even recognize it. The other 9 installed immediately, plug and play. Given that I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this, Id say a cheap 10 pack like this with only 1 bad drive is better than most available on Amazon, until you start looking at drives 2 or 3 times the price.

> 24 hourI purchased these just to keep as backups for the rare occasion I need to sneaker net a file some where. The first I was used seemed fine but later had read problems - I didnt think much of it, until I tried to use the others. The first I think I with a new drive is format it, if its needed or not (old habit) these drive light up when first plugged in (no problem) but never stop, not data on the drive, or being copied to the drive - just idle it looks like its transferring data like crazy (disk utility apps cannot unmount the drive, preventing reformatting or erasing - sort of freaks me out that the transfer indicator goes nuts for no reason. Dont trust.

> 24 hourYou get what you pay for. Useable space is only about 58-59 gb. And these things are soooo slow! By far the slowest thumb drives Ive ever used. But they do work and havent let me down yet so theres that at least.

> 24 hourOut of the box (of 10) , these flash drives were formatted exFAT. I reformatted to NTFS and tested writing a group of files totaling 120MB and the time spent is 12+min! Painfully long for 120MB that takes under 40sec with a Sandisk Cruzer Glide 64MB formatted NTSF using the same PC. I retested with other flash drives from the box and reformatted NTSF and the result is the same! I subsequently initiated a return that is promptly handled thru the Amazon website. I was packing the flash drives for return today and suddenly Bulb! Maybe the flash drive controller cannot handle the NTSF file system? Correct! If you keep the exFat format these drives came with then transferring the 120MB group of files above is under 45sec which is practically OK. Also reformatting to FAT32 would yield a similar writing time under 45sec. I have not use these drives long enough to report their reliability, but surface testing with utilitie like Minitool Partition Wizard reported No Error. You may surface test in Windows Command Prompt Administrator with command CHKDSK /X /F /R, that I also did and it returned no error. In summary these drives work well with exFAT and FAT32 format but stay away from NTSF format.

> 24 hourOne dead out of the box. Tried on both Windows and Mac based computers. These act really quirky on a Mac, sometimes connecting sometimes not, connecting then disconnecting with an error about improper removal of USB drive. Tried reformatting, better results with these on a PC based machine.

> 24 hourThese are advertised (black blade) USB 2.0 so should have a 400+ mb/s transfer rate. I cant get them to transfer any higher that about 10 mb/s and it waivers between 7 and 12. SCENARIO: Windows 11/Intel i5 PC. USB 3.x (red blade) ports. Max transfer rate from HD to SSD is 125 mb/s. Usual transfer rate from HD to SD card is around 20 mb/s. Usual transfer between HD and tablet via USB-C is 25 mb/s. So these USB flash drives are more than twice as slow as SD cards. Transfering from SSD or HD to flash drive saw no difference in speed. Content is 10g worth of 12 video files. Way over 10 minutes to complete task! Didnt matter if ports were off motherboard (back) or front panel. Once written videos can be read without stutter. Thats the good news. But distributing 10g of archived videos for X-Mas presents is going to take 2 hours for 10 USB flash drives! Argh! Should have watched the specs better and spent more. 2 stars because they do seem to work (like big old floppy drives). EDIT 11/21/22: Final project was 25 files, 15.1 gig, and it took 27 minutes to copy to each thumb drive. With 10 drives it took all afternoon. sigh.

> 24 hourThey look good and were easy to use, but two of the drives in my set wouldn’t activate, which lowers my faith in the product. The durability of the other drives that did work remains to be seen.
