I bought these so that I could put family photos on them and mail them to my siblings. I had about 3GB of media to put on each thumb drive. Invariably, at some point during the process the transfer of files would stop and the estimated time of completion would keep getting longer until the computer said that it couldnt transfer the files because they were corrupt. Then it made me format the thumb drive and start over. The files werent corrupt because they opened just fine. Even after restarting my computer the same thing kept happening. The final straw was when it told me to format the thumb drive but then flashed a message saying the it couldnt be formatted. I bought a different thumb drive locally and transferred everything (2.5 gigs of media) in about 5 minutes with no issues. Again, DO NOT BUY THESE PIECES OF CRAP!!!!!!

I had a smaller set of drives from the same company and they worked great. This set of 64gb has the slowest transfer speed I’ve ever seen

I have used these to load mp3s and photos (not video) from my Mac and Synology server. Loading a single photo or mp3 takes ages. Not worth purchasing in my opinion. These might be useful as 2GB drives for Word documents and the like, but there is no reason for 64GB as it takes ages to load that much data on them. They constantly disconnect from my Mac, and are just generally too slow to be of any use. Id rather have half as many of the faster blue USB drives (even half the size) than these.

This is my favorite form factor for USB flash drives- no caps to lose, no sliding mechanisms to jam with pocket lint. Speed is decent. The lanyards are nice- makes them harder to lose, easier to find when they slip between the couch cushions. However, I tested each one out of the box with Flash Drive Tester, and while the capacity was as rated, every drive had between two and twenty recoverable write errors, which I reproduced with multiple USB controllers to be sure it was an issue with the drive, not the computer. I dont know the significance of the write errors- other utilities dont report them, but it is something I havent experienced with name-brand drives. Nonetheless, after running them through FDT, I formatted each one and ran Windows 10 chkdsk, and have had zero issues since then. Flash Drive Tester writes over every bit, so no worries about malware that you see with some cheap USB drives (assuming that you have autorun disabled.) I use them as boot drives for utilities like Clonezilla, offline virus scanning, etc. Im not sure Id use them for storing critical documents unless I had a backup due to the initial errors. My only real complaint is that the darker colors obscure the activity LED almost completely.

These thumb drives work fine for a couple of weeks but then they start dropping connectivity. The drive is plugged in and the light is on and im using the files on it but then it stops showing up on my computer and then reconnects and disconnects over and over for no apparent reason.

After my computer decided to stop booting last week, I found myself using another machine to write different bootable USB recovery images to my one free thumb drive, in an effort to get it working. Now that its back up and running, I decided to get these to keep static boot images on in the event of another problem. The different colors make it easy to keep them straight - pink is the backup software recovery disk, black is the bootable antivirus, red is the windows recovery, etc. They come in a nice box with a form fitted foam insert and even lanyards for each one if desired. Easy enough to store the drives in the box on a shelf as an emergency recovery kit.

I returned these USB Flash drives because I wasnt able to upload a large 4.7gb file. Ive since learned the hard way that I needed to reformat them to NTFS file system and this would have solved my problem after needing to to the same thing to a more expensive name brand USB flash drive. The packaging and product is a nice product.

I have a photography business and provide digital images for my clients. Ive purchased a lot of these. They are priced very well, they are attractive, and they have considerably more storage space than required. So for me, it is like giving them an extra gift. I am yet to have one fail.

Ive used several from this pack so far and have been quite pleased. They are convenient for copying PC utilities and taking to client sites. Its always handy to have some spares on hand since I dont always label what Ive copied to the thumb drive (Im getting better!) so I just grab a fresh one from the box and use it. I figured as inexpensive as these were there would be a dud or two in the box but havent found a bad one yet!

Bought these summer 2019. Product as described and works well. Nice color coordinated lanyards. Some issues though. Red light glows or, worse, flashes while the USB is plugged in. Nothing to indicate the up side that I can discern, so I can make my own mark or try both ways each time I use the USB. Also, on laptop use, these seem a bit loose, and the lightest nudge results in an inadvertent ejection and attendant computer message. Otherwise, they seem to be sturdy and very nice design and colors. Nice storage box as well.
