I have a leak in the basement plumbing that is in a very difficult place to repair. This tape is doing the trick, at least for now. I’m hoping it lasts a long time. And with this much tape, if it starts up again, I can do another fast repair. Five stars for saving the day!

I put this tape on a tear in my RV awning and it works great. It sticks so well, it took some effort to get a strip separated from the roll. It has only been on there for two months, but it seems to be holding well.

I’m refurbishing my older powerboat and got this very sticky, strong, weatherproof butyl tape. I’ve used it to seal a few internal seams, and might even use it in a couple of places on the outside of the boat. As it happens, it is exactly the color of some of the blue paint scheme on the gelcoat. Excellent sealing ability!

Not sure I want to say this doesnt work without more uses but it didnt stop the leaking of a small pipe. Its also very hard to get the protective covering off. Make sure you have someone with you that has some finger nails.

Used this to seal a small hole made by a branch in the roof of the trailer. Its really sticky and should last quite a while. Just make sure you place it slowly so it doesnt wrinkle. Im not sure how it compares to the name brand, but it solved my problem.

I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima that runs great, but slightly leaks from the sunroof. The sunroof has been inoperable for years now, and I have no intention of fixing it. I did however want to waterproof that leak, and decided to give this tape a try. After cleaning the surface very well, I cut the tape to size, and tried to do my best to plug the gap. I taped the circumference of the sunroof, and applied a little bit of heat with a heat gun, just to help the butyl activate, and adhere better. The tape is excellent quality, and the adhesion is extremely strong. I put a test strip over a small gap on my work bench, because I wanted to see how well it would close that gap. When I removed the tape I could see by the imprint, that it does an excellent job of filling the gap, therefore waterproofing it. Its also worth mentioning, the adhesion that I experienced, was very strong, when I tried to peel it off of my work table. I have the utmost confidence that this tape is excellent quality, and will do the job for many years to come. I thought it worth mentioning as well, from the picture in the listing, the blue of the tape looked pretty bright, but in reality, it is a darker tone that is more understated. All in all, its an excellent quality leak repair tape, and I would certainly recommend it.

This tape has a blue flexible backing and is like RV Dicor roof sealant. It looks like a good sealant for RV roofs (patching), awnings, and windows to keep water out. It sticks to surface’s very well and you can press it into cracks and holes. I like how it comes in a roll making it easier to apply.

Worked great to tape my dryer exhaust hose.

I bought this to use on our duct system. It seals any gaps and is very pliable, making it very easy to use. I would highly recommend this item.

I used this outside and its held up to snow, rain, and wind. Ive never used other tape, but this brand works really well. Worth getting.
