Really, just buy them. Theyre strong, light, and feel VERY secure. I use them for my car keys. Looks slick too.

these are pretty neat, I read a few reviews then bought them....love them. Cool looking an ruction at least for my needs for my car keys, I cant speak for actual climbing abilities bur for hanging my car keys on...fantastic. Would recommend.

Twist to lock and unlock can be a pain, but I believe as they wear in a little more they will be easier .

I had 2 of theses attached to my bookbag holding my keys. I got in a motorcycle wreck running about 40 mph and slid about 20-30 feet. They stayed on my bag and are still functional.

used for 1. key chain, locking feature is a must… when I combine two sets of different car keys 2. connect dog harness to dog martingale collar (because he can slip out of the collar) 3. hang tennis bag on fence (don’t need locking mech for this :p) 4. lash water bottle to bag/backpack (locking helps)

I purchased these to use it secure the straps on our Hoyer lift to move my family member. I’ve tried others and felt there was a risk of clasp failure. Not with these. They are quick and easy to open and close and feel safer. I still watch them with an eagle-eye when in use. I would definitely buy again for this use.
