I use these to attach my keys to my jean’s belt loop. They work great. The locking mechanism is good enough to keep my key ring attached when I shift them into my pocket, which applies pressure to the latch. It’s also pretty easy to unlock so that I can quickly detach and reattach my keys to actually use them.

These are sturdy enough to stand up to a lot of abuse. Its a little tricky, but you can unlock them one-handed, but unlike most other key chain carabiners, Ive never had this one open itself.
