Got these for a non climbing application obviously. Two are still going strong with nearly daily manipulation. Ones spring gave out after a few months but that was one I gave to someone else so I dont know how they were using it.

Really, just buy them. Theyre strong, light, and feel VERY secure. I use them for my car keys. Looks slick too.

These were very economical. I bought these to use as a safety hook on a dog leash and collar. They work as intended but feel very cheap. Locking mechanism works ok. If I was buying these for some other purposes, I would prefer to spend more money and get a higher quality carabiner.

This package of 3 has a nice working lock mechanism, easy to work with one finger, that will prevent anything attached from accidentally falling off; this feels and looks like a quality product, not flimsy like some of the others I have purchased. I would not hesitate to purchase again.
