Greater than one weekI used this to finish the process of converting a popcorn ceiling to a flat ceiling. After scraping the popcorn off and using a sanding screen with more grit to get as close to drywall as possible, I applied a thin coat of joint compound over the whole ceiling and used this sanding screen to make it smooth. It worked well in combination with the Hyde Tools 09165 Dust-Free Drywall Vacuum Hand Sander with 6-Foot Hose I also purchased at Amazon connected to a shop vac with a HEPA filter. It wasnt easy and it wasnt fast, but it wasnt as messy as when Ive done it without these and the finished product looks like it was always a flat ceiling. Pros: Good finished product once I figured out how much pressure to apply. Cons: The 15 x 15 ceiling required both screens (both sides). That might be about right, but I expected the screens to hold up a little longer than that. I was having to apply a bit more pressure than I would have liked by the end. To be fair, that could be unrealistic expectations on my part having never used this product before.

> 3 dayThe are abrasive yes, but I needed to made smaller pads by cutting, and to make my own dremel wheels. When you cut this product it makes a huge mess. The small particles it leaves behind when cut go everywhere. So just don’t cut it and you’ll be fine. Extremely durable thought, and a great price!

Greater than one weekWrap a fine drywall screen around a mr. eraser pad, and you have the best toilet scrubbie for a low price. We have seriously hard water build up, and it takes care of it with no scratching of the porcelain

> 3 dayThought 3M makes good stuff but turns out these screens wear out quickly. I am not talking about losing the sanding edges/dull but literally wear out ie no material left on the pads. The OEM piece that came with the pole sander did not show any wearing other than getting dull. Works great when new for cutting down high spots.

> 3 dayLightly used with Barkeepers Friend and water, removes hard water stains from porcelain toilet bowl without damage. Quick and easy - just use a small square and wear rubber gloves.

Greater than one weekGot this to use in an unconventional way. If you have a nasty hard water line in your toilet bowl, cut a small square and use some Bar Keepers Friend to scrub the gunk off. You barely have to scrub and it doesnt scratch the porcelain like a pumice stone would. My toilet has never looked better. Highly recommend!
