This is so awesome! I wish I had discovered this solution to remove toilet rings years ago. Five minutes of light scrubbing with a piece of the screen and poof - gone. Easier than pumice.

I bought these at my local big box stores, but I might as well share my disappointment in this product here so people can avoid this. So, when this product is brand new, it works great. But, if you actually put this to work (not just sanding some drywall compound from a few small patches), you WILL break it. I have done some major drywall work in my house, so Ive put this to the test (and it failed). So, this product is actually designed well to retain the sandpaper. The downfall is that this is not manufactured as ONE piece of plastic. The handle is a separate piece of plastic from the flat sanding piece. The handle and sanding piece are held together with two flimsy pieces of plastic (lets call them retaining tabs). After a bit of use, the retaining tabs will break and the handle will fall off! Please see attached photos as to how this fails. Ive broken three of these, and I am now done with this junk. I am an avid DIYer and this is a horrific waste of my precious time. In the morning I am returning for refund and Ill try something else. So, unless the design improves, avoid this at all costs as it will cost you valuable work time.

Our 2 yr old toilet had really bad hard water stains and we tried every product to try to remove it. We finally used these sheets in conjunction with Zep acidic toilet bowl cleaner, about a minute or two scrubbing and NO MORE STAINS! And didnt scratch the porcelain! This is a keeper.

Fearful of the pointy sharp corners of the mirrors fronting the doors on our medicine cabinet -- one day after suffering a scratched arm -- I did some research on line and read that emery cloth may be used to smooth glass. Who knew! I took a chance and ordered this low-cost package. Right after it arrived, I opened it to expose the coarsest grit and rubbed it on a test corner. After about 10 seconds of this, I had successfully converted the dangerous point into a non-threatening radius corner. Within a minute, I did the same with the three remaining corners. Sign me Perfectly Happy.

*Took the picture half way through so you could see the difference and what I started with. I used a very small 1” x 3” piece and toilet water (no cleaner or pre treatment) and took me less than 10 minutes. I learned about using this stuff to clean porcelain from someone who cleans homes professionally. It feels/is very abrasive, yet DOES NOT scratch the porcelain itself. PS I used ONLY this and the toilet water to clean **NO fancy toilet cleaner or pre treatment of any kind** Wish I’d known about this years ago. Will definitely purchase again but won’t need to for a good while, since I used a tiny 1” x 3” strip for the whole toilet and could’ve gotten away with less. UNRELATED (But also amazing..) Use undiluted vinegar with 1oz dawn dish soap in a spray bottle for your shower cleaner. Leave it on for a bit while you do something else and scum comes right off. No scrubbing. Learned this from the same person and it’s fabulous. You’re welcome.

Im been dealing with stubborn buildup in my toilets and sinks due to hard water at my place. I had tried so many different things, when I stumbled across a tutorial on a blog recommending using a fine grit sanding screen with Bar Keepers Friend; the blogger said that this had been recommended to her by an employee at The Home Depot, as its much gentler on porcelain surfaces than pumice is. I cut a small piece (about 4 inches) of the sanding screen, covered the toilet bowl with Bar Keepers Friend, & scrubbed away. It did take some elbow grease, but it was worth it! My toilets dont look good as new now, but they still look SO much better.

I used this to finish the process of converting a popcorn ceiling to a flat ceiling. After scraping the popcorn off and using a sanding screen with more grit to get as close to drywall as possible, I applied a thin coat of joint compound over the whole ceiling and used this sanding screen to make it smooth. It worked well in combination with the Hyde Tools 09165 Dust-Free Drywall Vacuum Hand Sander with 6-Foot Hose I also purchased at Amazon connected to a shop vac with a HEPA filter. It wasnt easy and it wasnt fast, but it wasnt as messy as when Ive done it without these and the finished product looks like it was always a flat ceiling. Pros: Good finished product once I figured out how much pressure to apply. Cons: The 15 x 15 ceiling required both screens (both sides). That might be about right, but I expected the screens to hold up a little longer than that. I was having to apply a bit more pressure than I would have liked by the end. To be fair, that could be unrealistic expectations on my part having never used this product before.
