> 3 dayThese have been instrumental in removing decades of caked on grime and paint from the 74 Beetle we are restoring. One thing we learned in using them was that when they start to un-knot themselves, they are still useful for light weld cleanup and surface clean-up, however they are not as effective at that point at rust removal and the like. Weve purchased a second set of these as we wore through our first set.

> 3 dayThis fit my angle grinder perfectly. The threads engaged well and the wheel fit nicely within the guard. I used it to clean up an old cast steel anvil. The wheel cleaned off the old rust , grime, and paint and left a polished finish with very little effort. The wire did not come loose or fall apart like some cheap wheels. At less than $5.00 each these are a great deal. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayHeavy duty wire wheel for heavy paint and rust removal. Instead of single wires which can fly off when brushing these heads have many twisted wires which holds them together and lets you really get after the rust. They screw onto the threaded shaft of the grinder. If your grinder has a guard around the wheel make sure it can accept a 4 1/2 wide attachment. These are rated up to 12,500 RPM but I cant imagine anyone needing to run them that fast. They clean surfaces pretty aggressively.

> 3 dayThese are rust eating wheels if you can stand the flying wire. BE SURE TO WEAR EYE PROTECTION WITH THESE WHEELS. A full face shield is best.

Greater than one weekSeem to be durable and long lasting with a little breakage to be expected and with a good amount of down pressure these clean pretty fast. I agree it is a given- always wear eye protection with any wire wheel especially considering that these are somewhat expendable, and it may be a while- but they will eventually be worn down to knubs. Fits my angle grinder and tightened on easily and they handle a lot of down pressure when using. Good- coarse grind- cleaners.
