> 3 dayGot this kit to remove loose paint and rust on a steel square tube Wrought Iron style fence, mounted this first wire wheel on our Milwaukee cordless grinder and have been diligently stripping paint layer after paint layer along with spots of rush and some slag on our welds from installation. These wire wheels are truly heavy duty and very reasonably priced. Ive ground for hours now and the first wheel is still going strong!

> 3 dayOn par with the guys down at the harbor; a few cents cheaper. These are wear items and seem to stand up to abuse pretty well. I have been grinding the rust off the old work trucks. I like the slight cant of the bristles so it’s not quite a cup and I’m not quite a wheel. Seems to make it a little more maneuverable in tight spaces with odd shapes.

> 3 dayI wouldn’t recommend these for cleaning up welds because they are too course and slightly cupped. They did a good job of cleaning rust off the truck frame before undercoating though.

Greater than one weekThis fit my angle grinder perfectly. The threads engaged well and the wheel fit nicely within the guard. I used it to clean up an old cast steel anvil. The wheel cleaned off the old rust , grime, and paint and left a polished finish with very little effort. The wire did not come loose or fall apart like some cheap wheels. At less than $5.00 each these are a great deal. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThese wire wheels are pretty hard to mess up. After just a few seconds in my 4 1/2 in it took the rust off an old piece of tube steel I had laying around, the old grease/dirt/rust buildup off an old 3/4 ton shock, and the paint off a 55 gal drum lid. I say that, however to be honest Im surprised I dont have any wires sticking out of me after looking at the wheel after the fact. A number of wires seem to of come loose and could be removed with minimal issue or force. They get the job done but I question the longevity.

> 3 dayUsed these wheels to sand down and clean a stock trailer for pain prep. They definitely held up and there’s lots of life left in them. Absolutely with the money.

Greater than one weekThe wires angle down below the center disk, very helpful when brushing corners. They hold up well.

Greater than one weekI would suggest passing on these. The wire comes un-twisted and flys out running no where near the max rating rpm rating stamped on the cup.
