5 Inch 8-Hole Hook and Loop Sander Pads Replacement Sanding Pads for DeWalt DW420, DW421, Dw423, DW426, D26451, D26453 Orbital Sander

The plastic back on this is a real problem. The 3 holes that hold this to the sander became almost immediately too big to keep it attached to the sander. I am buying a pad with a metal back this time.

A new pad should come with 3 new screws. They are cheap enough to add 1.00 or less to the price. The old screws were a problem for me. Now what?

Velcro is not as aggressive as original and I can tell ill be replacing sooner then I want.

Before, we bought an authentic MAKITA backing pad (ASIN B002AQT8PU), and we were thrilled. After a lot of deck sanding, I decided to try the “Amazon’s Choice” this time: FAIL. My wife tried to apply this to our sander, and one screw would not align, so she couldn’t get it tightened down... and *boom*. Spend the extra buck and get the real deal.
