We are a stair manufacturer and use Porter Cable orbital sanders extensively, everyday. The sander pads wear out before the machine does, so replacing the pads is a cost effective option. We have used these replacement pads in the past and they work great. they fit the sander as required and the hook holds the sander disc as needed. They have been added to the company wish list for easy reordering. PSR company approved and recommended.

it broke off soon after I mounted and started using the sander

Pad wore out after 30 minutes of sanding. The plastic base holes wore out and are now way bigger than the screws.

This was a exact fit replacement pad. Velcro on pad far exceeds original equipment from DeWalt. Holds sandpaper extremely well. Too bad Dewalt did not OEM these pads. I see this lasting a long time. should never have had to replace the Dewalt pad in my opinion.

Screws pulled through the pad in less then 30 minutes, I made washer to give a bigger holding area that lasted an hour, had to take the original out of garbage and use it,still needs replacing because orginal hook pad is worn

Had to drill holes to fit older (approximately 12yrs) red Craftsman Professional 5 random orbittal sander, but is well made and has a sturdy backing. Does not flex when pressure is applied. Sponge is as thick as OEM.
