The product is good quality. It was challenging getting all three screws in on my Makita. The holes did not line up exactly.

Pad wore out after 30 minutes of sanding. The plastic base holes wore out and are now way bigger than the screws.

Had to drill holes to fit older (approximately 12yrs) red Craftsman Professional 5 random orbittal sander, but is well made and has a sturdy backing. Does not flex when pressure is applied. Sponge is as thick as OEM.

Worked great

Before, we bought an authentic MAKITA backing pad (ASIN B002AQT8PU), and we were thrilled. After a lot of deck sanding, I decided to try the “Amazon’s Choice” this time: FAIL. My wife tried to apply this to our sander, and one screw would not align, so she couldn’t get it tightened down... and *boom*. Spend the extra buck and get the real deal.

I bought this to replace my stock makita sander head and it seems fine in terms of stiffness but man, it loses the sanding pad pretty quickly. Definitely could be more grippy. Shopping for a replacement because Im going through sanding discs not because theyre worn out or clogged but because they go flying off the pad.

It fit perfectly on my D Walt agitator sander and was very easy and quick to change over to the new one
