A new pad should come with 3 new screws. They are cheap enough to add 1.00 or less to the price. The old screws were a problem for me. Now what?

It fit perfectly on my D Walt agitator sander and was very easy and quick to change over to the new one

It did not fit as per your description. Broke sander

The replacement pad does not fit the Makita B05031K as the description says. The openings for the screw head are too small. Please see photos showing the improper fit, and the difference between the OEM pad screw holes (left) and this part (right). If youre patient, you may be able to modify the part with a drill bit to widen the holes sufficiently. Disappointed with this purchase.

The one I put on my dewalt sander came off. Screws pulled through backing. Didn’t even last through one project and had lots of vibration

This is not a direct replacement for the Porter Cable 382 as stated in the description. The original pad had a metal backing, this one is plastic. The mounting plate is much thinner and as a result the screws to secure it to the sander are now too long. Do not waste your time or money, just buy the manufacturers part.

The pad fit perfectly and is a very good quality product for the money
