18-11-2024Unlimited wireless zones and better range than the 6160RF keypad. If you buy a receiver for Vista panels, the ENL and ENM are not worth the purchase as they limit the amount of wireless zones and are about the same price. Not sure why Ademco has the option to purchase the other ones. Anyway, this receiver with a Vista 15/20/21IP and a non-RF 6160 keypad is a pretty solid combo. I say this because you have better wireless range and troubleshooting devices becomes easier. Also, if your keypad is vandalized, your wireless receiver still works due to being a separate device. However, you can use this with a 6160RF if your application requires it or just use a second ENH receiver. This is a good price for this receiver and worth the purchase if you need to add wireless to your Ademco Vista panel.

> 3 dayPretty easy to install using the provided instructions. I added it to my Vista 20p system so that I could add a few wireless four-button remotes. In my installation I removed the board from its plastic housing and mounted it directly in the Vista 20p box. After hooking up the wires on the appropriate terminals I was cooking with gas. No additional setup required.

> 3 dayI received this receiver in August and was staging it for an install that was waiting on construction to be completed. When I went to install it, it wouldn’t power up. Dead out of the box. I removed the circuit board from the case and observed the circuit board had corrosion and stickers that appeared to be worn and used. Now that I can’t return the product after Sep 27th, I basically purchased “BAD” faulty used equipment and wasted my money. I should have purchased the product from the appropriate Honeywell distrivution channels. In this case, trying to save a few extra bucks costs me a lot more than purchasing from Honeywell distribution channels.
