This neat little wireless receiver was a no-nonsense DIY addition to my DIY Honeywell Vista 20 home alarm system, so that I could add wireless smoke alarms to my system--crucial for Homeowners Insurance discount!

After playing with this item (new from the box).... for a week, I ended up buying the 5883H Xcvr unit. Spent about 1 hour on the 5883H and got it up and going. This device was new to me as this is my first alarm system. Once programmed and running the 5883h works great. I regret buying the 5881enh, but cannot return, so going to just sell it.

work perfect with my existing Honeywell alarm sensors.
