Nice wire but definitely not 4 gauge maybe 6.

Nice flexible fine strand copper wire but it is thinner than I expected. Seems more like 8 gauge. Pay attention to the chart. Wire is about 1/4 thick. I should have ordered a size or 2 bigger. Overall you are paying for quality.

The finish on this cable was different than the cable I got from the marine store. It was dull and made me think the cable was old. Also, some of the copper strands were oxidized ie., green inside the cable. I will probably replace this cable soon.
