> 3 dayThis item is dull and had difficulty cutting through sheetrock. One of the two locking pins broke while drilling the first hole.

01-06-2025I bought this to put LED lights in a bathroom ceiling. it was a 1/2 plater 1/2 drywall ceiling. by the 3rd hole, this thing had very few teeth. glad I only needed it for 3 holes, but the last one I had to finish with a drywall blade.

> 3 dayThe bit works great BUT if you’re not careful the bit will spin off of your drill and on your foot or the floor. I used it to cut holes in 1x12s for LED lights so I used a clamp to hold one end down on my work bench while I drilled out the other end. When the bit cut through the wood the bit spun off onto the floor barely missing my foot. Plus there is no way to keep it from sliding off except to drill your board that is clamped down on a bench and have another board underneath it to prevent the bit from damaging your work bench. There should be a lock nut on the inside of bit to keep it from sliding off. Someone will more than likely get bit from this bit.

> 3 daySweet for making the hole in ceiling sheetrock for LED recessed lighting. It takes a few attempts to make a contraption to collect the saw dust.

> 3 dayEverything works as it should. It has no problem cutting through plywood. It’s a bit more important to get the saw started flat with a saw this size, but it cut nicely enough to get a vent pipe through. I have some reservations on the longevity of it, but after a few cuts, everything is good so far.

> 3 dayI used the saw to cut a cornhole board out. Went right through a 1/2” birch solid core plywood without a problem. Drilled a perfect hole no wobbling. Would recommend.

> 3 dayNeeded holes in car hood and it did the job a couple things to be aware of Didnt realize I needed a half inch chuck for this...probably in the description if so I didnt notice. Thankfully I had another smaller hole saw and used that smaller shaft set-up. I bought the 4.25 size and a cordless drill is not gonna have the power needed once you get into the metal... at least not a 12V. My old corded drill had no power issues and it worked great. If cutting steel, go slow and be careful, because when it goes through and catches and edge youll know it.

Greater than one weekI had to cut a bunch of 6.1 inch holes into drop ceiling panels for canless LED lights. I tried to use a utility knife first... That was awful! This blade cut it nice and smooth. You need a bigger drill... It is large and you need to get the speed up before you dig in. Saved me a ton of time and frustration! Worth much more than the cost.
