Could not log in after just a couple days. Returned for refund, bought an HP Envy at Costco.

I loved this pc right out to the box but wanted to wait about a year to give an honest review after really using. Prior to purchasing I consulted with an IT friend and had him look at the specs and he felt this was a good laptop for me so I purchased. A year later and I still love this pc. Its still performs just as quickly as when I first used and the battery life is great. Granted, this is not my main work pc, I use this for meetings and when I work from home so its not heavily used, no more than a few hours a day. After owning many laptops in the past, this is by far my favorite and I highly recommend!

I am very impressed with the quality of the screen. Skin tones are wonderful Color is clear and crisp. I am very happy with the light up keyboard. Speed is so much faster than my old computer. I upgraded to Windows 11 and like it so far. I do a lot of viewing video casts and it is very nice for that.

The power port stopped letting this laptop charge after less than 4 months. do not reccommend

I bought this laptop to replace another Acer 3 1/2 year-old laptop. I goofed as I didnt realize the hard drive in this laptop is not big enough for my needs. So I thought, no problem, as this laptop is supposed to be set up to take a second drive. It even comes with brackets to do that. I took the laptop to have a second drive installed and turns out the cable inside the laptop necessary to do that is missing. So now I am paying to have the hard drive replaced and the operating system reinstalled. I purchased this laptop because it could be upgraded. So much for that. Very disappointed and will not buy an Acer again.

I owned and enjoyed my previous Acer Aspire for the past 10 years and decided it was time for me to buy a new one. I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY NEW Acer Aspire 5 A515-45-R1YC Slim Laptop | 15.6 Full HD IPS | AMD Ryzen 5 5500U Hexa-Core. Its fast and easy to work with, even for an 83-year-old woman.

I had been looking for a new laptop for a little while but couldnt decide what to get. Finally chose this one. Works great. Runs fast. Battery seems to last. Happy with my purchase.

Its a good size, but still light. Nice metal feel to the surface. Fast enough for what I need.

Horrible laptop. I will never by acer again and Amazon is on probation because they should have better checks on what they promote. This lap has multiple issues volume, finger print reader, build. I live in the Caribbean and i bought this laptop for my daughter for online school. I had to get external speakers for her! Because of where I live it just so much of a hassle to ship this lap top back SO WILL HAVE TO ENDURE THIS THING. Some people say cheap thing not good and good thing not cheap.
