I bought this to replace my all in one dell 24 inch computer which was approximately 7 years old. I did not know what to expect other than the reviews that were written and the machines internal components. The screen is not spectacular. My old Dell was a touchscreen and the picture quality was better on my old machine. My old machine was also very quiet. This one makes noise when doing anything other than web browsing. It also puts off some heat. I am hoping that it holds up well but was disappointed in the overall general quality. I just expected that something so much newer would be so much better. I should have waited a few more years I guess.

As compared to some of the other reviews, I had no problems setting this Acer 27 up! I would recommend for anyone that works from home, which is where I work from. I have always trusted Acer computers and this one did not let me down!

It’s very easy to set up. It comes with a decent keyboard and a mouse. The speaker is not the best quality but it’s ok. I can hear the fan because it is all in one and it got cool down itself. The screen size is 27” and it’s a perfect fit for my desk. Overall it’s a very nice all in one desktop. The latest system display is like a phone display with apps.

This is my second Acer computer, and they have made some strange design decisions in some of their newer models. For example, this all-in-one desktop does not have any USB-C ports! This is really shocking, since some companies only use USB-C ports on their latest models. This is 2021, not 2016. It would have made more sense to have 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports on the back instead of 4 USB-A ports. Another strange decision is to go with a regular HD screen instead of QHD or 4K. When youre sitting this close to a 27-inch screen, the higher resolution would be much more useful. The amount of RAM that is included is enough, but 16GB would have been a better choice rather than the included 12GB. The overall performance is fairly good, but I do not recommend using this computer for gaming, since it only includes integrated graphics and does not have a way to add a separate GPU, either internally or externally. This computer is OK if you want a system that you can just take out of the box and use, but its not a great value in my opinion for the reasons I mentioned. For the same amount of money, you could end up with a much better system unless you absolutely need an all-in-one form factor.

Pretty fast works great for what I do. Only negative I thought it was touchscreen amd it is not, but that was probably my error

It broke down just two months after the purchase. It wont turn on. I have to ship it back to somewhere in Texas to get fixed at my expense. Acers technical support is so unhelpful. its totally unacceptble. no more Acer products in future.

Ive been a fan of small form factor desktops / all-in-one designs for some time for PCs that will mostly be used for office/home purposes - if youre not playing the latest in games, the smaller footprint and better overall power usage of these types of PCs is a huge step up from trying to get a budget desktop tower.
