I have had this computer for less than a year I nought it in March 2022 and the week after I got it, I was having issues with the screen as you can see in the video!!! Contacted Amazon but it seem the issue was resolve. But the it kept doing it and it was annoying but it would go away after shutting down the computer and turning it back on but now is doing it constantly over and over again I can not get nothing done!!!! I have contacted Amazon and they are not willing to help me because it has pass the 30 day policy!!

    Greater than one week

I had an Acer for 12 years and loved it. It was large so we decided to upgrade a little bit to this model. I HATE IT!! The windows 11 upgrade is awful! This computer glitches, stops working, makes the screen fuzzy and is not compatible was google chrome at all. UPDATE: a year later and I still HATE this computer. Worse computer I have ever owned. My last aver lasted 12 years. The only reason I still have this piece of crap is solely based on principle that I chose it and I need to deal with it for a while.

I had high hopes for this computer. I unpacked it, performed the little bit of assembly required and turned it on. The startup screen came up asking if the computer was to be used in the United States (it was to be). But at this point neither the keyboard or mouse (both of them wireless) wouldnt connect to the computer. The reason is the USB wireless connectors for the keyboard and mouse didnt come with the computer and without them, the keyboard and mouse wont connect. So I called the Acer help number. I gave them the serial number and was informed that the computer was out of warranty (it was 2 hours old at this point). I was connected to a representative who spoke only a foreign language. At this point I decided to return the computer and try another brand. I am very disappointed in the Acer customer service and their product.

Just some qualification and backstory for this review. Im an IT tech with 25+ years of experience. I had a long time client and friend ask me for a recommendation on an all in one computer for work. He just needed a PC for basic things like remote access to Quickbooks, Word, Excel, Outlook, web browsing, etc. I came across this computer and had to really search for anything hidden in the fine print because the specs at this price point seemed hard to believe. My friend bought it and I ended up spending a few hours with it setting it up to meet his needs. With that being said......

This is my second Acer computer, and they have made some strange design decisions in some of their newer models. For example, this all-in-one desktop does not have any USB-C ports! This is really shocking, since some companies only use USB-C ports on their latest models. This is 2021, not 2016. It would have made more sense to have 2 USB-A ports and 2 USB-C ports on the back instead of 4 USB-A ports. Another strange decision is to go with a regular HD screen instead of QHD or 4K. When youre sitting this close to a 27-inch screen, the higher resolution would be much more useful. The amount of RAM that is included is enough, but 16GB would have been a better choice rather than the included 12GB. The overall performance is fairly good, but I do not recommend using this computer for gaming, since it only includes integrated graphics and does not have a way to add a separate GPU, either internally or externally. This computer is OK if you want a system that you can just take out of the box and use, but its not a great value in my opinion for the reasons I mentioned. For the same amount of money, you could end up with a much better system unless you absolutely need an all-in-one form factor.

Overall I really like the All-in-1 Acer Aspire; for someone who does basic web browsing, social media, school work and lite gaming it works amazing. Its fast at basic tasks and the screen is large, bright and crisp. The monitor is very thin, incredibly thin considering there is no tower needed and everything runs on the screen itself. There are a few items I defiantly think should be noted. The keyboard at the included mouse were horrible, if you plan to use it frequently I recommend upgrading to better ones. I was able to connect my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with no issues, you just need to use the original mouse to get threw set-up and connect the new one. The camera is horrible quality, if your purchasing this desktop for a child to use for online school (zoom) then its fine but if your an adult and need it for work or as a teacher yourself defiantly plan to purchase an additional webcam. Sound and video quality are also excellent.

I’ve been using a 14” laptop as the main computer for my home office and it’s taking a toll on my eyes. Ever since I got the Acer Aspire C27-1655-UA91 AIO Desktop with 27” Full HD IPS Display, what a world of difference it makes. The screen is super large, I can now see things without squinting.
