I am not at all disappointed with this laptop! Screen is beautiful. It is super fast! It does need an upgrade in memory(8GB for $40) and HDD(1TB for $80), but it appears to be pretty easy to access and upgrade. They even give you the cable for the HDD upgrade. Will be testing out a few games, in the next couple days. Did not purchase for high end gaming, so I think I will be pleased, based on how quickly this thing moves for everyday activities!

Its a great laptop for gaming and streaming. Battery life is the weakest part. I only manage 2-3 hours.

If youre looking for something that can play most modern AAA titles at medium or low, this is IT. Slap another 8gb of ram and some storage in this thing (under $140) and its an amazing budget laptop for the price! It also includes a free month of game pass and an upgrade to win 11. Its awesome. I love it!

I am a 66yr old man with Red/Green colour blindness. The keyboard was so hard to read (even on full brightness) that I sent it back on that alone. If you are a young dude or someone with good eyesight it wont be a problem to you. I also learned that some Nitros have a menu where you can change the keyboard colour, not my one. I learnt: Turn the lights off and see what colour the keys are, if White you have RGB if Red, they stay Red.

I’m in love with this laptop. I was looking for a review about running the sims 4 with a lot of packs but now that I have it, i’ll say it. This laptop runs the Sims 4 on Ultra graphics with all of the packs and tons of CC and mods BEAUTIFULLY. It doesn’t miss a single beat. Loads in less than 30 seconds, and that’s only with 8 gb of RAM. The screen quality is so nice too, it looks like it has an overlay almost. It starts up quickly, loads web pages super fast. I can see myself thoroughly enjoying watching movies on this laptop even. I don’t know how it compares to other gaming or high end laptops, but if you’re like me and you have a piece of crap laptop and you’re used to it taking almost an hour to load the Sims on medium graphics, you will be BLOWN AWAY. The laptop is super light and thin. The keyboard has a nice feel to it, i like the back light but i wish you could change the color. I played with it for 6 hours straight and the fans are super quiet, and it doesn’t heat up that much at all. It does slow down a little without being hooked up, but i don’t plan on using it portably so I can’t speak to that. This was worth every penny, and I’m really grateful for Acer packing so much power at a good price. I don’t see how it gets any better than this for little ol’ me

So Ive had my Acer for almost a year now and here are my thoughts, struggles, FYIs for those thinking on getting one.

It runs pretty good

This is great for light gaming but dont expect high fps. I saw someone complaining about it not having enough storage. This laptop comes with a extra m.2 slot and a 2.5 SSD slot. Its easy to upgrade storage and ram

Hands down the most inefficient hunk of ******* garbage I’ve ever had played games on, I must have a bad unit or something wrong with mine because no way anyone at acer company owns one of these more or less had used it in the last 6 years and said “oh yes it’s 700” Owned mine for about a month now and regretting it at least once a day. So dam tired with this 5 min boot at least, constant thermo throttling, and incredibly bad interior design, pc turns to a grill on my legs, and the super ***** processor they put in this from 2009! THIS IS A NAME BRAND COMPANY FOR **** SAKE!!! Buy the higher end model or don’t buy it at all I have no idea how anyone gave this 5 stars, BY FAR THE WORST AND SLOWEST CONSOLE IVE EVER PLAYED GAMES ON ( go buy any other brand and model for this price range I wish I would have done the same!!!)

Excellent choice for college age kids. 1st one was so good I bought another.
