A good price for what you’re getting

Ive been blown away by how well this laptop performs for the price I paid for it. Im very happy with my purchase. Setup was a breeze. My games have run flawlessly. The battery may be an issue for some. I usually keep my laptop plugged in so its not an issue for me. Theres an option to stop the battery charging at 80% which will extend the life of the battery when you keep it plugged in like I do, so that option is very useful to me.

I bought this laptop as a replacement for a very old one. I wanted something that I would last me for long giving me the performance I needed and the option to upgrade if necessary. The first thing I though was upgrading it immediately after delivery to take it closer to what I thought I needed. However, it ended up performing just fine with the specs it came with. I cannot be more satisfied with what I paid for. To me it doesnt feel flimsy at all in spite of its housing being plastic. Its sturdy enough to feel comfortable with.

Overall the performance is great, solid 60 FPS in nearly every modern game and runs smooth Adobe Premiere, After Effects and PhotoShop.

El equipo es muy bueno , tiene características que son inigualables para el precio por el cual se vende, muy rápido y la pantalla es tal cual lo describe, ahora lo que me da inconformidad es la calidad del material, se que es un equipo de bajo costo en comparación a los otros equipos gamer de alta gama, pero el material de la carcasa, siento que es pobre, se ve como plástico de muy baja calidad, me hubiera gustado que fuera un material mas refinado, siendo un equipo de una marca de renombre como es ACER.

Its a very good budget gaming laptop. Make sure you buy an extra 8 gb stick of ram (I bought crucial) and itll unlock the full speed of the laptop. Also make sure the Nvidia drivers are up to date and activate coolboost on the control panel. I just have a keyboard issue that seems to be a common problem. For example when I play a video game and I try to sprint, the W button will stop working or have some input lag in it. Seems to be the only key that has an issue so we will see what other buttons have a problem. If someone has a solution to this Id be very happy.

I’ve had this laptop for less than 5 months and I barely got any use out of it before it stopped working all together and refused to boot up. I now have to pay $200 to have the hard drive replaced and until I can afford that, this $700 laptop is useless. Be careful buying pre owned and be sure to get a protection plan if you do, I wish I would have.
