I was looking at a different laptop and this happened to come up. I debated it for days before pulling the trigger. I couldn’t be happier. This is an amazing laptop. Games look and play so great! My best friend is also jealous that it out performs her gaming rig, so that’s a plus for me lol. Pull the trigger and get it. It does get a bit hot, but with that performance I expect it. Just get a stand with a fan in it. Amazing!!

I was in love with this laptop before the first blue screen. After some troubleshooting, factory resetting the laptop a few times I was obligated to try something different, a full reinstall from scratch. It did work for a while them blue screens again. I have tested and stressed my laptop and I have no hardware issue. Only problem I’m facing after a full install from scratch is that predator software doesn’t launch. When I try to install it windows says that it has unsigned drivers... even after forcing the install I try to launch it but I only see the splash screen, actual software doesn’t launch. Not a big deal but can’t set the keyboard color scheme without predator sense. Besides those issues the laptop is really nice

I bought this to replace a 7 year old Linux gaming computer (dual-boot, multi-drive) with a corroded power supply, expecting to install a couple extra hard drives, while still playing a few games on the original Windows drive it shipped with. After a little research, it looked like I wouldnt have a lot of trouble installing drivers for the hardware that comes with this model, and the price was reasonably low compared with System76, so I went ahead and ordered it.

Very smooth hard to bog down!

Fast to start up, has worked well with occulus link/virtual reality games (half life alyx and Asgards wrath) at medium settings as advertised. If you turn up VR settings to high you will definitely get high CPU and GPU temperatures, but i would say this is expected for a laptop.

it is a really nice laptop for the price. It does have the option the change the colors on the keyboard.

Amazing computer for the price.

After a couple of additions (2 gig Nvme and some ram) this little guy almost keeps up with my i9 10900k Alienware Aurora R11 with a 2080ti in it. I’ve been very impressed with the performance of this laptop especially for the price. I like to use it to power my Oculus Quest (use as a Rift) for PC games with Virtual Monitor and it’s done very well. It gets a little hot but I’m not friendly to it with the game settings and run everything wide open. Love having the portability of a laptop to game at work.
