I just received my package and wanted to immediately upgrade the hard drive. Much to my utter shock, the most important piece of the laptop was missing, the hard drive. It was just empty there, nada. I have called the customer support for help and they have transferred my claim to another department, so I will have to wait 2-3 business days for that call. It sounds pretty crazy but this is where I am right now. I paid this much money to have such an important piece of hardware missing.

Estaba buscando una laptop para producción musical, mientras más investigaba encontraba mejores opciones en las laptops para gaming, que funcionan a la perfección para la producir/componer con los programas indicados. Probablemente le compre una tarjeta de RAM extra, no es indispensable pero siempre pienso en modificar lo que tengo o hacerlo mejor. Hasta el momento estoy satisfecho, no tuve que comprarme una Macbook Pro para sentirme bien y poder trabajar tranquilo, así que en cuestión de presupuesto también veo esta opción muy superior, incluso al resto (que no son Apple) de la misma gama.

I bought this laptop in July 2020 and everything ok, very fast I even added an additional solid hard drive, but it turns out that in November I left the laptop disconnected since I was going on vacation and on my return (8 days later) I tried to turn it on but it would not turn on, I assumed that the battery had been completely discharged, however when the charge was completed it did not turn on again, I contacted Acer Support and they generated an order to take it to a technical service center, it turns out that the main board had failed and it requires change. Now I will have to wait 3 WEEKS! for the spare part since I have the laptop in Peru. Thanks Acer because I wont be able to use my laptop until after the holidays, until 2021.

So far so good! I do a lot of gaming as well as online streaming... so far the computer has managed to keep up with me without any issues... the fans that folks complain about are honestly not that loud.. I enjoy this laptop a lot..

This laptop had a black screen within 6 month of owning it. I had to ship it back to acer for repairs as they wouldn’t replace it ... that’s a 15-30 day process. I still haven’t gotten it back. ok update I got it back but unfortunately its now overheating and has to go back to acer once again , also they scratched it while repairing it

Will use for Engineering design. Very functional because we can carry it from different job sites
