Battery is a little mediocre when unplugged

Had this laptop since 2020. Was a great laptop till it started having issues a year in. Unfortunately I was never able to get support with the laptop due to Acer having a database breach. They lost my serial number and thus I cant send it in for repairs. Not only that but this model is no longer listed on their website for support materials since 2023. So now I can no longer download drivers again. This thing has been having more and more issues. The mousepad is no longer functional. At this point I built up a gaming tower but it feels like a waste of money to buy a laptop that cant even last 5 years.

I am truly impressed with this gaming laptop... it seems to be well built, but a bit heavy, although that was expected.

I bought this item for my grand daughter who is studying graphic design. She ordered this specific model and brand so there was no guesswork on my part. Shes delighted! Feedback I received was that this particular item is an excellent, medium (reasonably priced and functional) computer for graphic design purposes.

As soon as I unboxed it got a good hour of screen time then kapoof it goes dead. Acer products always do this

I bought this for one of my younger sisters a few months ago and shes loved it so far. It runs the games she wants and she can use it for coding, for her schoolwork, and other general usage too. Weve placed games against each other online and this is definitely quieter than my Alienware (Alien v. Predator--I couldnt help myself when looking for a laptop for her and saw that this one was good). That said, my alien has two power intakes for more intense gaming and its noticeable if Im doing a lot, so it has the advantage there.

I don’t know what the hell happened, I disconnected my computer from the tv and now my laptop won’t turn on. I wouldn’t recommend plugging it into your tv. However it works well.

Beware: BIOS is locked

I bought to use with oculus quest works great both usb-c and USB-a ports work for it

Purchased September 2020. The graphics card would crash and force a restarts. Stopped powering on via battery or power cable May 2021. Sent it back for repairs and when it returned the sound card doesn’t work and now windows will not boot.
