Acer has absolutely come a long way. I reviewed one of their first Predator Helios 300 gaming laptops approximately 2 years ago. It was big, bulky, ran hot, but it performed better than 73% of all PCs tested, it was a phenomenal beast.

This was my first gaming laptop or gaming computer purchase. Coming from an Xbox (Starting with Original Xbox) I cant believe what I was missing out on. Frame rates are excellent, speed is unparalleled, and access to games is just phenomenal. Im extremely satisfied with this laptop. Side note: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the best deal in gaming and has made this purchase even better.

This laptop performs extremely well and keeps up with all my friends beefy desktops. Ive has this since February 2021 and my only problem is one of the usb ports no longer works. Well have to hope its an easy fix.

The PC is good but the CPU is garbage - run away from intel

First thing I want to say is this is by far the worst keyboard Ive ever used. It doesnt respond to being pressed on the corners of the keys so you will miss type constantly or mess things up while gaming since the way youve learned to type your entire life will be different with this keyboard.

This laptop does everything it promises. The battery is surprisingly powerful as is the processor and GPU. Turn on battery saver and it still plays games like Destiny 2 on high settings with capped FPS at 30 for about 2 hours. Plugged in I dont have a game that it wont run at high or ultra above 120 FPS. Fan isnt overly loud and the turbo mode is amazing. I havent needed to use it on games and like I said before, I dont even have a game that needs it. Needs a bit more HDD space but for anyone who can operate a screwdriver, its no problem. Keyboard is sturdy and quiet.
