This laptop works like a racing car. Under load, the CPU goes to 90-92° and GPU goes to 85°, then it stays very stable at that temperature, with the whole top and back for ventilation plus traps on the 2 sides. It runs super smooth, and is very quiet when doing easy work (especially if you undervolt, it comes undervolted by -100mV by default, I could undervolt by an extra -90mV). The ONLY downside I could find is the screen gamma levels. Dark tones fall too dark by default, so you have to adjust your gamma level up *significantly*. Also, rigid HDMI cable on the right falls right where you put the mouse, so you can hardly use the mouse while HDMI is plugged and you cant keep the cable plugged. Considering all the strengths, however, I will still give it a solid 5.

I was recommended this laptop by my gamer friend, but I usually don’t play games. However, I use programs that take a toll on regular computers. I’m glad I chose this! It’s really good for its price/ cheaper than I expected, and it’s beautiful!

I like the laptop

I am using this computer for my daily work, not for playing games. But since I am reviewing a laptop designed specifically for a game, I did downloaded a game: Fortnite and was impressed with the game’s graphic and most importantly with the ability for this computer to display the graphic without any lagging. It’s in my general knowledge that usually a laptop designed for a game is usually loaded with the latest graphic card so it can display the increasingly complex digital world in the game environment. I believe a casual gamer will be satisfied with this computer. For the rest of us however, I sincerely think that if I am ever in the market for another laptop, I would definitely look for a laptop designed for a game, like this one. With its 16GB memory and the 10th generation Intel Core 7, you get a very fast computer that can handle multiple tasks at once. For the price of $1200, I feel that I am getting a lot more than what a non-gamer laptop usually is loaded with. I also played 4K Netflix movie and very impressed with the picture. Obviously there are a lot of computers out there that priced below $1200 but I always find those computers get “old” pretty fast because they are usually made with “not the latest hardware”.

It does everything I expected it to. Good machine.

I have not even seen it in real life but it is the best gaming laptop under $2000

Over heats easily and battery dies after an hour.
